Mexican and Greek food are ridiculously expensive here. You can get a kebab at a Turkish place for around $5. But at a Greek place, something similar like souvlaki, would be $15. Same with Burittos.

Fucking Chunky Soup are over $5 per can here. Yeah I know... white trash food... but I always used to have a few in the cupboard just in case.

In Sydney unless youre eating ethnic foods from wherever the particular ethnicity dines you get fucked in the ass. Anything "trendy" costs fuck loads of money.

Fuck em Im gonna have pho for lunch $9 and you get free shitty viet tea
This is why I like working in and living close to Footscray in Melbourne. It's $10 for a medium Pho in most places here, but the medium Pho soup bowls are still bigger than Tito Ortiz's head.

Yeah man they are huge huh? My Japanese ex asked the waiter why pho bowls were so big and he replied "Because westerners are twice our size so we figure their pho bowl should be too" lol

Man I miss that Pokemon panty wearing bitch right now

Korean beef starts around $20 a pound. A ribeye will start around $40 a pound. $8 Per 100 grams.

This is very annoying. The quality is amazing but price sucks balls.

Yeah I tried the local beef there. Very gamey I liked it especially in the beef soup. Korean veggies taste like Aussie veggies unlike other parts of Asia. Thai carrots tastes nothing like ours

Food court fare? about the same here but food court food fucking sucks in Australia unless its in am area with lots of asians then they ill have a shitty Indian place, shitty westernised asian place with chinese cunts making pho, fish and chips joint, kebabs then tucked away in a corner will be a proper chinese place. My PWO meal is always something from one of these places cause my gym is in our local mall
good stuff - mostly stand alone family places

thats bulgoshit

Thats for their own special breed of bovine you can actually get Aussie beef (best in the world) cheaper in Korea than you can get their own native beef.

Conversely you can buy new Korean cars here in Aus cheaper than in Korea.

Brand new Hyundai Accent retails for $14K here

The steaks were high, but the word is in: Australia has the best steak in the world.

Australia picked up four gold medals and the title for the World's Best Steak in the first ever World Steak Challenge, held in London's Hyde Park.

The competition judged 70 steaks from 10 different countries including England, United States, Canada and Japan.

The top prize was awarded to Frank Albers for a Jack's Creek Wagyu Angus cross that was 450 days grain fed.

There were 11 gold medal-winning steaks, with Australia claiming four medals; more than any other country.

The judges found that Australia's grain fed Angus and Wagyu steaks had the best quality of beef of all the contenders.

The chair of judges, George McCartney, told event organisers in a video that all entries were of a high quality.

"It was a difficult task to find one that was a level above the rest," Mr McCartney said.

"It's very important to show worldwide of the good eating quality of steak."

Another judge, Professor Jeff Wood, said all the judges had different perspectives in the decision-making process.

"But my perspective is I want flavour, and I want tenderness, and I want them in the right ratio. Those are the things I'm looking for," he said.

In the end, Australian beef was proved to be a cut above the rest, delivering on both flavour and tenderness — but is anyone really surprised?

Bowl of porridge at the local cafe = $10 "on special "

Eggs benedict = $15 on the specials board.

I generally don't eat out in restaurants or diners because of experiences like that.
