Preliminary Card
Weight class

Light Heavyweight Mark Coleman def. Stephan Bonnar Decision (unanimous) (29–28, 29–28, 29–28) 3 5:00
Light Heavyweight Jon Jones def. Jake O'Brien Submission (modified guillotine choke) 2 2:43

Lightweight Shannon Gugerty def. Matt Grice Submission (guillotine choke) 1 2:36

No. No it was not better. At that point Bones had only had 2 fights in the UFC and both went to decision. He was fighting Jake O'Brien who was obviously a needle mover.... Gugerty vs Grice wasn't even as compelling as Sage vs Marin and I still don't care about Sage/Marin. Lawlor and Dollaway were still being panned as those guys from TUF. People were already making fun of Coleman for being 90 but he is a legend so we'll cut him some slack. Your main card had Jon Fitch vs Paulo Thiago on it. Everyone thought that Fitch was the most boring guy in the world. Fitch became an adjective to describe lay and pray.

The top 3 were all great fights but from top to bottom I just don't see how this card was better on paper. In retrospect this was fantastic but the DHK/Grant fight was as one sided as it gets. Miller pretty well mauled Danzig. Coleman/Bonnar was a toughman contest between two gassed fighters.

I'm just stressing that if you were pumped for that card then I can't really see why you wouldn't be pumped for UFC 200.

My only fear is that 200 just lasts forever because of the title fights and the lighter weight guys all going to decision. But I still think it's more stacked than 100 was at that point in time vs this point in time.

I think it's a solid card, but I also feel like there will be little to none in the "upset/surprise" factor about this card. I feel like all the people who are supposed to win, will...... Jones, Hunt, Tate, Velasquez, Zingano, TJ, Hendricks, etc..... the only fight where I feel will be a pick em is the Aldo/Edgar fight, even then I'm leaning towards Edgar (i'm not sure what the betting lines are, he could be the favorite here).

Great card, little surprises, that's my feelings on it.
Solid card, but probably will not order. Edgar vs. Aldo is quite a scrap, and love any Hunt fight, but I feel that both fights are somehwat misplaced. A fake belt fight, and then a fight that does not matter. Take out these elements and it would make it a better card. Maybe because I wanted to see Aldo vs. McGregor II or Edgar, but somehow I don't feel pumped as I should be.

The bottom card will be watched. No complaints here! The early pre-lims are extraodrinary for a fight-pass card. One of those times I regret not having it, but I'll get over it when they need filler and show them on FS1 anyways....

Man, it must be really shitty to be an MMA fan and not allow yourself to be excited over one of the most stacked cards ever. It's like someone who loves music but no matter what is on they only hear Nickelback and Disturbed.

Great point.....He must have spent the 90's listening to Backstreet Boys and Chumba Wumba. I can see someone saying that they don't like the fighters etc. I can see not ordering it.....I'm not. But, to say that you're not even interested it just silly. I've watched two fat fucks fight outside of a bar and neither of them could throw a legit punch they were so drunk and I was entertained. How does this not even cause someone to go 'oh cool'? I dunno....must be a Nickelback fan...

Card is awesome now that Lesnar is on it, but I think the main event sucks the life out of it a bit.

Jones and Cormier need to fight again but not like this. I think most people just want it over with.

The fights you mentioned, like silva Weidman, I was not as excited about until I saw them, after that I remembered them. Not saying I disagree but a lot of those seem memorable in hindsight. You're right I guess in saying since it won't have a lot of future challenger implications etc it may not show to be as memorable, but to know that we have to see the fights. Personally I like the Edgar Aldo fight most.

If anything can happen in a fight, any card can be memorable, and the chances of 200, which has a lot of names on it,being memorable and relevant to the fighters' "legacy" are pretty high id say.

Jones vs DC II is a pretty incredible fight, but it just seems like the hype/buildup are lacking after the McGregor kerfuffle.

Like others, I know this is a great card, but I just don't feel that hyped about it. But the return of Jon Jones is enough to get me to tune in.

You have two fights on the top half of the main card where the average age of the fighters is 40. One of those guys hasn't fought in 5 years, and another hasn't won in 4 years. I'm not sure what that says about the state of the UFC in 2016, but overall it's still a stacked card, and I'm actually looking forward to the prelims more than any fight on the pay per view aside from Edgar vs Aldo.
