Folk style vs free isn't it, someone more educated on wrestling can probably explain it but there is a lot more illegal moves in folk that guys have ingrained in them not to do.
Sambo is closer to freestyle I think, again I don't really know but combat sambo translates to MMA better than folkstyle wrestling it seems.
A lot of that is to do with energy, he can operate much better when he controls the pace of the fight, once he loses control of that he can't keep his gas tank from draining.
He is a shit nail though no doubt, same as Alastair, look great when they are doling it out, wilt when they aren't.
