Don’t expect another back-and-forth slugfest between UFC heavyweights Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic, as ‘DC’ will be looking to implement a completely different gameplan in their proposed trilogy bout later this year.

Speaking to Kerry McCoy of USA Wrestling in a recent interview Cormier, a former Olympian, promised to ‘get back to wrestling’ and do whatever it takes to win the rematch.

Speaking of Should... DC should’ve retired when he said he would and went out on top. He would’ve had a legit debate of being on the the best ever. Now he is risking his legacy even more by taking this fight. He’s getting older everyday. He will decline every time he steps in there. We have seen it time and time again. His mind is still championship level, but his body is old and worn. It’s time to have full time dad bod and just enjoy coaching and commentating.

This. He is a good fighter and what got him there is being well rounded. Very few HW are well rounded. Hes good but can lose to anyone on any given day. Its a shame i love the guy but he doesnt have that specialty that makes people fear him so hes always in danger of losing
