Alright so I was at a target a little bit ago. As Im leaving and approaching my car, in the empty parking spot next to me I see what looks like a monopoly bill on the ground. As I get closer I see that its bigger than a monopoly bill and it has a Chinese guy on it and Chinese writing.

I snatch it up off the ground and it has a weird feel to it. Not thin like monopoly money but not as thick as a regular dollar bill (turns out its made from bamboo paper)

It says 10,000 and the words "Heaven note" on the top. Im thinking WTF is this?

I did a quick glance around the parking lot and didnt notice any Chinese people around so I dipped out.

Heres what it looks like

After googling what the hell it is, turns out its used in some sort of ceremonies and at funerals. I guess the chinese burn these things at funerals as a way of delivering money to the deceased in the afterlife.

I look up the value of this thing and its worth like 99 cents lol

My dreams of a crazy weekend in Vegas filled with blow and strippers were dashed.

I've seen the stores that sell this stuff. Besides money, they got paper cars, paper liquor, cigrettes, even paper viagra, LOL

When I was a little kid in Hong Kong, I once found some of these and thought I was rich. Imagine the disappointment on my 6 year old face when I found out what it was.

Still pretty cool.
Next time you see a mob dive head first for that thing, you can instead take the wallet's from the KO victims.

LOL at the visual: lil LR, coveting his notes...then seeing old men in flip flops and dungarees kneeling down by little red ovens, all ashy ankled, cigarette dangling from lips, eyes squinted against cigarette smoke and feeding identical notes into little red fire pots....
