half of conors wins are not even in the ufc any more he fought guys like denis sever, diego brandao and marcus brimage . he also fought max and porrier when they were very young . then he fought mendes who just rolled off the couch and nate who was drinking on a boat in mexico 10 days before the fight. aldo, nate 2 ,eddie alvarez and khabib are probably his only legit fights against guys on the same level with a full camp .conor got that golden ticket to his title shotthis just means that Conor fought them before all of them hit their primes, so Conor fought the weakest versions of them?
khabib has fought 16 guys no one has ever heard of and half the guys he fought in the ufc are no longer aroundDo people not realize Khabib was in his 2-something fight before he actually fought someone decent?
The whole division is a mess on account of the title never getting defended.
He beat RDA, but if memory serves that was before RDA went on his little run that saw him winning the LW title, I could be mistaken on my timeline though.khabib has fought 16 guys no one has ever heard of and half the guys he fought in the ufc are no longer around
RDA ,conor, porier are legit competition but he also faced guys like horcher ,al iaquinta with one foot out the door selling houses and pat healy at the end of his career and kamal shalarous who is currently on a losing streak in one fcHe beat RDA, but if memory serves that was before RDA went on his little run that saw him winning the LW title, I could be mistaken on my timeline though.
It also depends when you fight someone. As you said about Conor fighting Max when he was really, really young. If you fight RDA on his way up rather than in his peak, that's 2 different things.RDA ,conor, porier are legit competition but he also faced guys like horcher ,al iaquinta with one foot out the door selling houses and pat healy at the end of his career and kamal shalarous who is currently on a losing streak in one fc
Jon Jones fought number one contender after number one contender. Guys who were champs in the couple years prior. Undoubtedly the greatest run in MMA history. It also depends when you fight someone. As you said about Conor fighting Max when he was really, really young. If you fight RDA on his way up rather than in his peak, that's 2 different things.
It's the same with, well, pretty much all of Jon Jones big name wins. They generally came against guys on their way out or on guys on short win streaks against enhancement talents.
Lol. No.Jon Jones fought number one contender after number one contender. Guys who were champs in the couple years prior. Undoubtedly the greatest run in MMA history.
This is true but Shish Khabib has pulled out 4 times and almost caused a 5th pullout due to weight issues which is why Conor called him a pullout Merchant...4 times it's been scheduled, twice Khabib pulled out and twice Tony pulled out. Common knowledge brah
u such a hater lolThis is true but Shish Khabib has pulled out 4 times and almost caused a 5th pullout due to weight issues which is why Conor called him a pullout Merchant...
he lost to matt hammil broJon Jones fought number one contender after number one contender. Guys who were champs in the couple years prior. Undoubtedly the greatest run in MMA history.
In the first round no less.he lost to matt hammil broJon Jones fought number one contender after number one contender. Guys who were champs in the couple years prior. Undoubtedly the greatest run in MMA history.
He almost got knocked out at least 3 different times by Lando fookin Vannata. He lost to Danny Castillo. He doesn't move his head when striking and doesn't have particularly good TDD.thread failed miserably
trying to belittle Tony's wins instead exposed how Conor's the one who beat guys who haven't even hit their primes or gifted a title. lol at beating Siver and getting a title shot.
Tony has earned every bit, 12 fight win-streak in the UFC LW Division, another who did the same is Khabib, who's the champ.
Tony has a much better chance against Khabib than he does Conor. He almost got knocked out at least 3 different times by Lando fookin Vannata. He lost to Danny Castillo. He doesn't move his head when striking and doesn't have particularly good TDD.
Imagine him being this sloppy against Conor:
Or trying this bullshit against Khabib
Not bad at all.Oh! Oh! I love making up bullshit like this! Lemme do your post only I'm gonna make it about Khabib:
"Did you know that Khabib only has two wins over current top 5 fighters at any weight class? Aside from beating RDA, who himself is 5-5 in his last 10 fights, Khabib's UFC career has mostly consisted of beating shot fighters, subsequently exposed hype trains, journeymen, professional dive artists, and homeless people he violates in his spare time. He also lost a wrestling match to a fucking baby bear.
But getting back to his UFC Career: Khabib debuted with a win over Kamal Shalorus, a scrub who went 0-3 before getting bounced out of the UFC. Tibau went 5-6 in his last 11 UFC fights, and Khabib couldn't even finish him. Thiago Tavares was so bad he went .500 in the UFC even after dropping to Featherweight! Khabib again had to go the distance with Abel Trujillo, a complete journeyman stepping stone who was so bad he actually got stopped by aforementioned scrublord Tony Ferguson, and Pat Healy was winless in his last 5 UFC fights!
Next was RDA, who's actually just 4-5 in his last 9, a total has-been. Darrell Horcher, a last minute replacement, was just 1-3 in his UFC career before Sean Shelby mercy-killed his UFC career. Michael Johnson may have fooled people into thinking he was good once but he's actually just 2-5 in his last 7 fights, totally past his barely relevant prime, and Khabib only beat him in the mediocre twilight of his career. Barboza is 1-4 in his last 5 and about to drop to Featherweight to try and hold onto his job. Al Iaquinta, a bum who puts being a real estate agent ahead of fighting, is just 1-3 in his last 4, a stretch that includes Khabib.
Now some people might give Tony Ferguson some credit for beating Conor McGregor, but I'd just like to remind everyone that McGregor just went 3.5 years between wins (his win over an old man's cellphone was subsquently reversed by the Florida judicial system) and actually lost to late replacement journeyman Nate Diaz, a man with a barely .600 overall record, even including his non-UFC fights.
This brings us to what you might think of as the only true quality win of Khabib's career in Dustin Poirier, but I remind you that he's actually a blown up Featherweight who lost to Michael fucking Johnson, who must we've already established as a total mediocre can.
Basically, Khabib's opponents were never legit champions or contenders, or had stopped being so by the time he fought them.
So don't feel too sorry for Nurmy."
Also, the possibility that Lightweight is an incredibly deep division with a lot of parity and a lot of elite fighters who weren't protected from each other is absolutely ludicrous, and in the realm of flat earth-level lunacy. Take that Khabib-defenders!
For sure.Tony has a much better chance against Khabib than he does Conor.

Meh he loses to both but yeah.Tony has a much better chance against Khabib than he does Conor.
I think the reckless abandon and complete lack of forethought with which Tony does, well, everything might cause problems for the very predictable Khabib, but you're 100% right when you say he's much too sloppy to be much of a threat to Conor.Meh he loses to both but yeah.
Khabib beats him soundly via 5R decision but Mcgregor's superior striking would KO Ferguson in under 2 minutes.
Lando Vanatta was a late replacement, Tony was preparing for Chiesa who is a tall jujitsu guy, not some short head moving striker. doesn't even matter, Tony got the finish. He almost got knocked out at least 3 different times by Lando fookin Vannata. He lost to Danny Castillo. He doesn't move his head when striking and doesn't have particularly good TDD.
