I often question why I post on a forum created by a guy that hasn't seen In Bruges.
Couple years back or so.Yeah that's something to look forward to. Hang on, when did Fiat turn into Fiat Chrysler?
Ouch.Couple years back or so.
Yeah since I've seen more Fiats on the road and even an occasional Alfa Romeo, which was always rare here in midwest.Ouch.
Well this is definitely nice news anyway.
Can't remember the last time I saw an Alfa, they're beautiful cars. Temperamental but beautiful..Yeah since I've seen more Fiats on the road and even an occasional Alfa Romeo, which was always rare here in midwest.
Yes, they may not be the most reliable cars but they have a style, and you see it has seeped over into the Chryslers as well. One of my first cars was an Alfa Romeo, loved that thing. My actual first was a FIAT, hated that thing. But I am glad to see them coming to the US, slowly but surely I hope. Can't remember the last time I saw an Alfa, they're beautiful cars. I don't know about that, I kind of like them staying where they are thanks. There's something nice about when I go back to the UK and seeing new Peugot, Renault, etc cars I've not seen before.Yes, they may not be the most reliable cars but they have a style, and you see it has seeped over into the Chryslers as well. Well, from a US persepective, it is nice to have variety, as most Amercian brands are shit anyways. Can't all have that Subaru money amirite @Sex ChickenI don't know about that, I kind of like them staying where they are thanks. I bought a spankers Ford Fusion when I first moved here (which, touch wood I've only pranged twice and still runs like a dream) and had to be hushed up for starting to argue with the dealer that Henry Ford was British.Well, from a US persepective, it is nice to have variety, as most Amercian brands are shit anyways. Fords are the better US cars for sure. Had a Ranger that wouldn't die. I'll stick with Asian for now.I bought a spankers Ford Fusion when I first moved here (which, touch wood I've only pranged twice and still runs like a dream) and had to be hushed up for starting to argue with the dealer that Henry Ford was British.
I've just done a rundown and I've not actually owned that many cars, most were lease or company cars. Wouldn't take it on long journeys but I really do think my Cooper S is my favourite and it only cost like 8kish with all tax and paperwork done. Nearly was a Fiat 500, conversely.Fords are the better US cars for sure. Had a Ranger that wouldn't die. I'll stick with Asian for now.
Almost bought a mini Cooper last summer. Fun drive, I would've love having stick shift again, but fell for the Honda. and 4 wheel drive. Because winters.I've just done a rundown and I've not actually owned that many cars, most were lease or company cars. You can rag the crap out of them, I had a standard Cooper crop top in Europe and it just stuck to the road no matter what roundabouts you floored. I ended up buying it out of its lease and selling it for 500 Euros before moving here. The crop top didn't work anymore and I'd reversed into something so its butt was a bit pushed in but it drove me from Amsterdam to Tuscany and back with only one puncture so it was heartbreaking letting it go.Almost bought a mini Cooper last summer. Got a CRV. All the bells and whistles. I have had Honda before in Europe and was best car then, so the less adventurous part of me went for the CRV with seat warmers lol. I am getting fucking soft. You can rag the crap out of them, I had a standard Cooper crop top in Europe and it just stuck to the road no matter what roundabouts you floored. I think I'll even have to ditch the Fusion for a rental if I go up to Yosemite, a GF and her family got stuck for hours ad nearly didn't make it there for Christmas. Literally 14 hours and she only lives in San Francisco.
Which Honda? My friend was raving on FB yesterday her new one did 400 miles on one tank.
Nearly cried when my company Golf went back with the seat warmers. Had a Saab lease though and it didn't have them, they were the bastards to bring them out in the first place.Got a CRV. No fucking way an Alfa lasts a whole race before it breaks downAlfa Romeo returns to F1 with Sauber
"The Sauber F1 Team has signed a multi-year technical and commercial agreement with Alfa Romeo, returning the Italian car manufacturer to Formula 1 after an absence of over 30 years."
Good to see one of my favorite cars return.
This is what I was saying about temperament! No fucking way an Alfa lasts a whole race before it breaks down
