#25 Texas A&M smoked #11 West Virginia last night, 88-65.
Other than UCLA and Northwestern struggling in their openers, nothing alarming happened with the Top 25.
#12 Cincinnati actually has some shooters. They scored 107 pts in their game against Savannah State yesterday. The Bearcats typically win their games with 70 points, so seeing them drain 13 from 3 point land and total 100+ was good to see.

I do too but I bet those freshmen for Kentucky play up to the challenge and it's a tight game that could go either way in the final minutes.

A scuffle broke out early in the 2nd half in this game with Minnesota up 57-50. The entire Alabama team left the bench - which is an automatic ejection so Alabama had to go the rest of the way with only 5 players.
Then with 11:37 to go in the game, Dazon Ingram fouled out. That left Alabama with only 4 players. Less than a minute later - 10:53 to go - John Petty got hurt and couldn't continue. That left Alabama with with only 3 players for the remaining 10:41 of the game. They were trailing 67-54 at the time.
Alabama still lost the game, but their 3 players managed to outscore Minnesota 30-22 to close out the game. Minnesota ended up winning 89-84

One of the better in-season rivalry games is today at noon. Cincy vs Xavier. Always a good game. Occasionally there are fisticuffs. The schools are about 2 miles apart and if you are from here you are either blue (XU) or red (UC). The hatred is real.

My season interest waned when Michael Porter Jr got Mizzoued. We have the worst freaking luck.
I've been watching him all season, been playing him as much as anyone in daily fantasy, he rarely disappoints. Not afraid to shoot at all, rarely takes a bad shot, & he's a better passer than he gets credit for. If he was in the eastern conference he might be an all star this year. There's guys who've been in the league for a few years & still haven't gotten to his level of shot selection & court vision
Well said. He's mature beyond his years and really hard worker. He was an average shooter as best coming into Louisville and he put the work in. Think he said that he took 500 shots a day over the summers. Versatile too. Reminds me a lot of Russell Westbrook in terms of skills, but he's a more willing passer & better teammate.
