I feel like we maybe did this thread once, but the related threads thing isn't showing at the bottom for me on mobile anymore. In any case, with Holly Holm's upcoming second crack at the UFC women's featherweight title after having been the bantamweight champ, I'm trying to remember other multi-division challengers (whether they won or not) in the UFC. Off the top of my head, I've got:

Holm
Conor
BJ
Randy
GSP
DJ
Ken-Flo
Hendo
Chael
Vitor

Pretty sure there are more I'm forgetting.

New additions based on thread:

Frankie
Sherk
Maia

I just remembered Jens Pulver too, challenged at FW at WEC after being the UFC LW champ years earlier

Would you consider Serra since he was in the 4 man LW title tournament, but never made it to the finals?

Are we only counting UFC or can we include fighting at a weight higher early in career and then moving to another weight for UFC?
Does TUF count?
Bisping won tuf at lhw and the belt at mw
Pride weights were different than UFC so I don't know if that counts.
If it does then Dan Henderson is at the top of the list

Edit: just noticed Hendo in the op, guess it counts lol

Rumble was a legit threat at ww but couldn't get the weight and never fought for the belt
Obviously he was a challenger at lhw too

Pulver as mentioned in another post should be on there for sure

I know we consider the WEC title where the UFC title came from, but technically, I think the case can be made to exclude him because the challenge wasn't in the UFC. Is Faber excluded under that criteria as well? His fight with Aldo was in WEC.

Well I would assume if it disqualifies Jens, it would have to disqualify Faber

Just remembered Shammy fought for that super weight or whatever the first belt was called, and the LHW against Tito Ortiz.

Fair, no exact weight limit at the time, but that was heavyweight essentially
