It's In every grocery store and a pretty substantial space of it belongs to every kind of tin meat in imagination. There's got to be somebody buying this. I wonder what for? I buy tinned fish.

In Korea we make tinned fish into a stew. It's delicious. Takes away the fishiness of it when you cook it down with chili onions and garlic and it's great with rice. Tinned fish is still kind of like fish but tinned meats of animals are kind of processed into a paste and formed into a square. It's not really like eating chicken or beef.

I mean tuna is one thing. But for some reason I don't think you mean tuna?

Every once in a while i'll get some spam, slice it thin and fry it up with my eggs for breakfast.

Also I was raised on corned beef and egg....not sure if that's a Caribbean thing or not(Also buy this periodically but less that 5 time's a year).

Other than that its canned tuna and salmon.

Yes I'm explaining that I buy fish in a tin because its passable as the same consistency as real fish. Mostly tuna, sometimes salmon and mackerel

My googling for tinned meat shows that it was wildly popular in the fifties so its probably older from that generation people buying it to this day. Intriguing that they used to eat it like a "real" meal. She is even breading it and then frying it.:wineglass:

Never heard that expression before, learn something new. Y'all must be Brits and Canucks up in this thread? Or maybe it's me.

Yeah I eat canned shit, it's a convenience.
How do you eat It? I'm specifically asking about those canned meats that come with a key to open them.

It came about during WW2 due to the shortage of meat. You could get it on rations.
