Wtf is wrong with you? One of the best British shows of all time. It's an anthology series so all the episodes are standalone works. You could start with this season if you wanted to.

They're all standalone episodes that take place in a dystopian present or future, focusing on the unintended consequences of new technology. The majority of the episodes are quite grim. The scariest part is how close our reality is to the show.

The Maxine Peake one was boring AF but that 3rd one was tits.
A bit darker? Have you not seen the previous seasons? I've rarely walked away feeling cheery.
I'm confused..........I watched the 3rd episode of season 4 last night and thought it was fantastic. I just googled Maxine Peake to see who she was and she is the leading actor of that 3rd episode. Is she in another episode or something, because your message is confusing.

I hear ya. But some of it is a bit campy. I'm not saying it has to be really graphic, though I wouldn't mind that, but I think there is some room to get a bit darker. But to be fair I think that could be achieved in the editing room, not the writing room per se.

4 - hang the dj: agreed, was very good. I like the ones about the weird sci fi stories
5 - metalhead: agreed. Loved the filming and bringing in the tech, but I like the mindfucks more
6 - black museum: like a really uncomfortable horror movie. Liked it once, not sure I'd watch it again

EDIT: and i hadnt seen the last 10 minutes or so of episode 6 when i wrote that. but i did get back to it. i hear ya. cool episode. but so dark. dunno if id watch it again lol
