I do. You can also hear the cop say " just a bit of weed" and you Immediately feel like he's trying to play off like no big deal to calm the suspect but you can tell he's "playing" and that probably has the opposite effect of what he's intending.
I feel like this only works when you are interrogating a Brandon Dacey in the station but not on the street to normal functioning people because they can tell right away It's a trap.
I'm just telling you how I felt listening to the dialog.

Your accent has nothing to do with your intelligence. Cities try to hire people that come from their city because they already know how things work. So yes I can see them hiring him despite your obvious problem with his accent.
It wasn't his accent. It was his poor use of language and saying like a bit of weed was no biggie yet continuing to search because he knew the weed was leading to other things. When I am at work I wouldn't say "man" at the end of all my sentences and use improper grammar would you? Even if that's the way I talk at home I wouldn't when I'm at work dealing with the public.
Did you not find the cops language less than sincere because while I'm no inner city person, the flags were going off straight away that the cop was suspicious.
That's just my feeling and I feel I'm pretty good at reading people.

I thought the cop was being very nice, and it helps to ease us when they kind of joke around like that. THey make themselves seem more human and not such scumbags. Ive been pulled over so many times by power tripping cops who are just dickheads and make you crazy nervous even if you didnt do anything. Im already nervous as soon as i see sirens on and the cop is following me. Heart rate jumps, im like shaking lol. I hate that shit. Even when i dont have weed on me they make me feel like I do!! lol
