The fact a bunch of non US citizens are discussing how great a US president is is fucking hilarious.

If it wasnt for this forum I would know nothing about who is the leader of the UK and Canada. Its just really not relevant at all to be honest. Thats the difference between being #1 amd just being there.

Warren Gamaliel Harding, Andrew Johnson, and George W. Bush are in a 3 way tie for worst President imo.

Obama is probably in the top 11 somewhere. It's a bit too early to say. We've had a lot of Presidents who were awful or forgettable. Personally, I can't rate any President who presided over slavery or in the pre-women's suffrage era. That half the population once couldn't vote means all electoral results and popular opinions are dubious. We have to start from 1920 for eligibility under this criteria. So there have only been 16 Presidents in free and fair elections in the US (and realistically we could extend all the way to 1965 and the voting rights act since several groups were periodically denied the vote until that act). Of the 16, Obama is undeniably top 5, maybe top 3.
Ok we can agree to disagree on multiple statements on here but feel kind of bad cause I actually thought I pissed you off with my post last night, so I will leave it with
I'd argue there has never really been a truly fair election :)
Oh and Johnson is my #2 but he was in well before 1920

Do you really believe that?

Obama was a smooth talking senator with two speeches that made my nips hard and looked to mend international relations. I'm not sure that was about being black as much as being "not bush".
Smooth talker, I'll give him that

That says more about your country and education system than anything else :)

There is a reason there isnt a TPP since we pulled funding and the UN is shitting its pants over the US threatening to not pay. Do you think the reaction would be the same if Canada threatened to do same thing?

Then there's this flat-out lie that was told to enrich the insurance companies and legislators responsible for writing the bill.

What does that have to do with your lack of education?

It basically means that everyone else is pretty irrelevant if something that major falls completly apart when we dont pay for it. Why would I care what happens in Canada politically? Has 0 effect on my life.

Because matters in other countries can have effects on your country (not just economically), I'm not trying to be rude to you like I am with some others but to me that comes across as an igornant statement
Then to say that people from other countries shouldn't discuss American politics is just funny when it is a real possibility they are more educated on the matter than those who have the disadvanted of having got their education in America

I just think its hilarious that what goes on in America is such a big deal to everyone. Its not like you can do anything to fix our problems so why worry about them? Its pretty apparent that you guys may not like what we do but you are in no position to tell us to fuck off either.

As far as being ignorant you may be right but it doesnt make me wrong.

And BeardOfKnowledge @ConorMcGregorsBeard saying Herbert Hoover was fucking spot on and kind of crazy since he was President 100 years ago.

I agree it doesn't make you wrong, you are entitled to an open and just because I disagree with you, doesn't make me right

To argue though
I would argue that these are different times and people around the world can have nearly as much impact on change in America through (mostly) social media manipulation
I live an hour away from the state's, if I want to take part in a march or petition against something in the states, that is easily do able
Fuck, if I want to vote I could find a way to do that to since you guys already allow so many illegals to "make change" through voting

And of course I can tell Americans to fuck off, I do it all the time when I'm there at my vacation house in Arizona lol

Your politics have never seemed to have a huge impact on What goes on here so why would I care. I think Canadians are awesome so I dont wish any ill will on you guys.

Anyone who has a older brother or younger brother knows exactly what the relationship between our countries is like.

Ok I think I misunderstood (not my best day lol)
I agree our politics here have little effect on American politics, whereas American politics does play a fairly significant role on the Canadian politics
Think thats another reason why the people are so concerned with your guys politics

Now why is it like that? Has it always been that way? Could explain how Hoover was brought up since he basically orchestrated the great depression.

Doesnt it alarm you somewhat that your leaders let another country determine what happens? Globalization must really suck and be especially hard on some cou tries.
