Well she did immediately stop after he kicked her in the face, so that was a definite deescalation.

Next time the wife gets mad and wants to argue because I didn't put the dishcloth back in its proper spot I will deescalate the situation with a swift head kick. I imagine after she wakes up we will watch Survivor and have a good laugh about it.
