Canada wins 2-1 but honestly we were lucky to get out of there with a win
USA was all over us in the 3rd

The majority of our country doesn't appreciate hockey and soccer, so it is a shame any time we win. Countries that appreciate those sports deserve the wins.

I have a new idea for a sport. Combine the luge and skeleton. You have an athlete head first, but laying on his back.

i used to ride those really steep water park slides this way after the park closed. its "a srenity now" type feeling. because you're looking up at your feet, up at the sky. with no water hitting your face like you get when you go head first on stomach

I'm not joking when I say, I don't even have to like a sport to watch and enjoy it
If there is legit competition, that's where I want to be watching

The Olympics are my favorite time every 2 years

the onyl difference i have, is that im indifferent to which country wins. i dont know any of the americans, so for the most part, i just like watching inspirational competitors from wherever go at it

i do tend to root for america in gymnastics tho, so i hear ya in terms of country loytalty. its just harder for me to find mine lol

i got like 4 hours of sleep in, but just woke up with that figure skating song blasting inside my head from a day or two ago "come what maaaaay"

i have to skim most your messages on here to avoid spoilers since i watch a lot of stuff delayed to to big brother and sleep :-/

i hope they replay a bunch of boarder cross tho. i was critical last night from bed. i LOVE the sport in truth lol

When I was a kid 7 to about 11, I used to go sledding of a hill in our neighborhood at night (about a 6 or 7 story tall). When all the kids were back in bed, my dad and I would go to that hill and I would slide down that hill at it's least steep, but longest part and go head down on my back (dangerous as heck but exhuberating too). They used to keep the lights all night so there was enough light to see the hill but not too much to light up the sky. I watched the stars zoom by if I did that on a clear night. Dad would then pull me up the hill as u lay on the sled looking at the stars. Best childhood memories EVER for me.

Canada, us, Netherlands I'll always cheer for over anyone but I'll always cheer on a great performance from anyone
I love watching matches where nobody I'm cheering for is playing so I can just enjoy the match
Did that a bunch last night for curling after everything else was done

Between those 3 countries I do usually have somebody to root for though
