A couple weeks back the wife and I watched "Hunt for the Wilderpeople", which we both thought was great. It was filmed in New Zealand, and it's got a lot of funny moments. Sam Neil is great in it.

Check it out, it's worth it. The same director has another funny movie called "Boy" and it's also really good.

Watched "Mascots" last night. Christopher Guest imo is the master of the mocumentary but this one was bad.

The Shape of Water didn't come anywhere near a theatre near me so I've been waiting to see that one.
Blade Runner 2049 was a masterpiece. A shame more people didn't see it.

I fell asleep watching. I don't care for cop dramas and this one wasn't any different. Dressing it up in a fantasy setting was an interesting idea but still couldn't save it for me. Surprising to see that after all these years Will Smith is still able to play the same character.

Groundhog Day. At home on my TV. It's still a classic comedy with a dark streak in the middle I'd forgotten about.

At the cinema it was the latest star wars offering I watched as a double bill. VII and VIII back to back

I LOVED Robert DeNiro playing Bernie Madoff in The Wizard of Lies. I really have a major thing with DeNiro anyway whether it be comedic or Goodfellas.
9/10.

Ghostbusters. All time classic and I could enjoy watching it every day.

Depp would've pulled a convincing Poirot off. Except
except...that's the guy they kill off.

ALLIED
7.5

I gave it a higher rating than some because of some creativity I noticed.
Worth a watch, especially with a deceitful gf.

He looks pretty suave in that pic but how did he look in the film?

He used to be such a nice looking guy but seeing his pudgy fingers walking around smoking a crack pipe with Marilyn Manson put me off a bit.
