Since Rory MacDonald made his Bellator debut against Paul Daley last year, ‘The Red King’ has made it known that he wants to become the promotion’s first ever simultaneous two-division champion.

MacDonald, a former UFC welterweight title challenger, beat Douglas Lima for the Bellator 170-pound strap at Bellator 192 this past January and wants to move up to the middleweight division in pursuit of another world title.

Former UFC contender Gegard Mousasi, who will challenge Rafael Carvalho for the Bellator middleweight championship at Bellator 200, thinks MacDonald’s style is ‘perfect’ for him and predicts the Canadian will ‘get his ass kicked’ when he moves up to 185 pounds.

Be interesting to see if Rory can win two belts at Bellator. I think he'd be the favorite against both guys, no?

I want to see that fight, but not yet. Couple of title defenses first. It might be different if he wrecked Lima, but he didn't.

No I think it’s 50/50 toss up for both guys...

Moose is moose ( going for championship #6)period and Carvalho as much as I know is a big 185er.

I'd give Lima rematch, but if they don't want to do that Andrey Koreshkov would be just as good, and yes both are threats.
I've Koreshkov fight. He's really good but doesn't he fight at LW? I thought he beat up Bendo pretty good there?
