This was an amazing fight, but I wonder if Wandy was sauced up in this bout, and if so, he robbed Stann of a potential career finishing huge win.

RIP Kimbo, this fight showed how fearsome Kimbo was, Houston was a badass back then, and he wanted nothing, I mean nothing to do with striking with Kimbo, Houston stayed on the outer perimeter of the cage and kept circling more than I saw Lyoto ever do in any fight.

Not sure if serious about Wand on the sauce. Both guys showed huge respect before and after iirc. I think a lot of fans didn't put too much value on the official winner as it was such a great fight. Not like it was going to leap frog either into a title fight, just a legendary brawl.
Well this was before Wandy was gonna fight Chael, I believe after this fight Wandy was put in the que to fight Chael on TUF. Also pre USADA, you got Wandy looked pretty fucking jacked here, then you have him months later literally running away from the tester and then he got kicked off the show etc....Plus Stann himself has voiced this
What I am getting it is both are warriors but if Wandy was saucing its kind of fucked up because maybe he does not recover the 8 times he recovered in that fight to ko Stann. I don't give Wandy too much shit for clearly being on roids in Pride, they did not test for it, anything goes over there. But Stann fights clean, not cool to get more brain trauma by a guy saucing.
Again, respect aside, Stann himself voiced this concern when Wandy literally ran from the drug testers. Keep in mind the brain trauma from the ko in this fight is what sped up Stann's retirement, hence why I say this part.
