Met with a Lt. Colonel yesterday & he shared some pics with me along with his story from childhood to present.
It's always an honor for me personally to be entertained by someone's story, and particularly military as our code of ethics and situational awareness align.

Yea it is. I was always taking pics. Had a surreal couple of us smiling and shit before a patrol and then next to a burning car after a fight a few hours later and you can see the confusion and pain of war.

powerful images I am sure...I am still in awe of the way they build their buildings and the walled areas on rooftops...so different from building techinques in areas with more rainfall

this was the first one in April. Operation Vigilant Resolve, right after the Blackwater incident
