I have a feeling I know why Conor acted like he did, I am not sure but it is a hunch, a few people may already know what I am getting at, if I give my individual take on this, would it be considering fighter bashing? I want to open up on why I think Conor acted like that, but I don't want to be thrown in as a fighter basher. to the view of what you are now saying.

I was about to make a thread, instead I will just post it here, and maybe post it on some other threads when it is pertaining.
I think Conor saw Artem get what he saw was bullied, he forgets that Artem in an interview some time back was implying that Khabib was a pussy and other bad things, Khabib deservedly got more offended by a fellow Russian saying this, and he confronted Artem.
Conor then with 20 hoodlums gets a plane, to cause ruckus. He knows that Khabib is the worst matchup for him, not only beats him but slaughters him likely. So he will either try to do something to avoid fighting Khabib, or he may begrudingly fight him. So either way he wants to do some stunt like this, getting coked up, maybe he thinks he can at least get in a punch or 2 while all jacked up, before people break it up, so then even if he loses and horribly in a MMA fight, he can try to claim he at least got in strikes in a street fight.
By the way, I personally think if Khabib was off the bus, Conor on or off the white, would be regretting the choice to go there. Khabib is just a different level of tough that Conor will never get too. That is All folks
