The former middleweight champ Bellator and the winner of the M-1 Grand Prix 2016, Alexander Shlemenko , who will head the M-1 Challenge 93 tournament in Chelyabinsk on June 1, spoke about why he decided to hold a duel in Russia when his contract with Bellator expires, and whether Russian fans should wait for him in the UFC.

"Now I have a difficult situation," Storm told Radio FM Sport. "It remains to solve the unfinished question with Bellator, and I think you can say goodbye to them. I do not really want to cooperate with them, I do not really want to speak for them, because, starting in 2015, there is a lot of confusion with my career. The history of doping, other various situations that really inhibit the development of my career. I do not need this, I'm not interested. I want to develop differently, myself...." via Google translate

Wtf.
They're Bellator's best fighters!
Koreshkov would END Rory, or Lima in a rematch.
Minakov is hands down MMA's best HW.
Sergei should be in the HW tourny, and Schlemenko arguably beat Mousasi.

Are we like team Fedor or bust?

One of Bellator's biggest disappointments is not keeping their best guys busy.
It's crazy to me, I don't see the politics.

He wants to fight in the UFC when his Bellator contract is up in 2019, now that the UFC is coming to Russia.

Some insight, maybe:

Maybe they were saving them up for a their own Russia event.
It is a little weird that so many have been inactive but at the same time that's been a complaint from a lot of fighters on their roster. A lot of the young up and comers seem to be fighting a lot but there's so many guys that are just benched for whatever reason.

Be a shame to lose him, but better him than Nemkov, Tokov, Maldovsky, or Koreshkov.

How much of this (if any of it) has to deal with visa issues? It's not exactly easy for Russians (remember it's not just the fighter, but the manager and camp) to get them.

The guy who lost to Lima and couldn't finish Bendo would END Rory (who beat Lima).

Yeah, he beat Lima smart guy, and was a punch from ending him twice.

Stop licking neutrals.

AND, Rory got the fucking shit beat out of him by Lima.
Wolf tickets.
