Winter can fuck right off anytime now.

You assemble entire sections of trusses before they go on the roof? Can't say I've seen that before. Does the truss manufacturer leave a slot at the peak for the ridge board? And what are they using for the gusset at the heel? I usually see a plate there - that looks like wood or something.

Ridge is blocked in

Big gang plate, gusset connector at the heal

Gotcha. I couldn't tell from the pics.
Is that common technique where you're at? Around here they are set up one at a time - but this is interesting. Ever have one collapse like a deck of cards while doing this? I'm assuming you have to brace the shit out of it to keep it square.

Seen one fall apart years ago, guy I used to work for didn't strap the bottom chords so once it was lifted the bottom folded in.
Blocking for the ridge is fairly common here you might see a beam for a ridge if it's a cathedral ceiling and the trusses will tie into ridge.

Yeah, we block the ridge too. It just looked like a solid piece of wood in the pic.

Car show

A 1955 Chevy with a Chopped roof and raised suspension isn’t something you see too often.

I had a 4 door amc as my first car.

I’ve wanted a gt40 my whole life but unfortunately they were built for people 5’9 and under

There used to be a big American muscle car show I used to go to in Aldershot where I lived in England, I loved it. My dad and I used to go to it every year. The NEC in Birmingham England does a big car show and I had full intentions of going every year but never made it.

So you're going to buy your wife one so she can tell you how awesome it is?
If I was going to get one the 2000’s version was able to fit taller people and looked pretty cool too but 250 - 400 k is pretty steep price to pay for an unreliable and uncomfortable (albeit fucking gorgeous) car.

Great looking cars. The 2017 looks awesome as well, but I haven't seen that one in person.

Saw some rims that would look good on your mini.
