So apparently Israel shot 2,755 people, but of the deaths claimed by the terrorist organization 50 of the 62 were Hamas members.

It's unlikely that the Palestinians see anyone within their own ranks as "bad guys" or that actions taken against Israel at this point are considered by them to be unwarranted. This is a highly speculative post that subscribes to the narrative Israel paints of always being in clear and present danger should a Palestinian happen to be in their territories.
But I agree that a contentious protest is no place for children. Anyone who's a veteran of direct action knows when it's an event for the whole family and when it's time to armor up.

I don't need Israel to paint a picture. There are loads of Hamas videos out there declaring these things in their own words. Even from this very protest. Npr caught a guy saying proudly he wanted to get through the fence to kill the Jews.

Truth is man i dont really know the difference of any of them, I judge everyone situation differently i cant just side with one side it wont work for me, im actually a free thinker.
The point is the people at the protest are not obliged to vet everyone who shows up or watch Hamas videos prior to attending a demonstration. We know that narrative because it's been shown to us in the West, largely as fear mongering by both Hamas and the Zionists who both benefit from a state of conflict. But that rhetoric is separate from the reality that compelled people to demonstrate. Like I said, I agree with you they should have left the kids at home, but Hamas makes a video for every event, so if you didn't attend on that basis, you'd be confined to hashtag activism.
Maybe not storm a border with 40 thousand people when you know a large number or terrorists are in your midst .

I think if you're at times frustrated by the liberal and conservative orthodoxies, a quick read on their history that frames what 21st century agitation for change could more sensibly look like is Ill Fares The Land by Tony Judt. It's a good primer on what happened over the last century or so on multiple fronts and is only around 150 pages.

My biggest problem is that right away i always assume politicians are scum and lying to us so its hard for me to believe anything unless it actually happens, that is why like him or not Trump has delivered on almost every promise and the ones he hasnt is because he cant not because he didnt try. What that means to me might differ fro what it means to someone else though. I believe that anyone who labels themselves a democrat, republican, conservative, liberal, etc etc is not a free thinker because they have chained their though process to a team/group/party. People who labels themselves are slaves defending the label they have chosen and they are no longer free thinkers, they have to defend a Trump or a Hillary, a Hannity or a Maddow.
It's like sports. I was a Jets fan, every year I'd say,"next year we'll get them", even though anyone with a sense of reason would see that was bullshit.
If people would put away their political jerseys and just vote for people they think are good, decent, smart, moral men or women, we would not have the Hillarys or Trumps to choose from. You'd also make these politicians work for your vote. These politicians right now know that no matter what they do, their base will support them. That thinking of theirs is our fault, because it's true. Registered Republicans/Democrats will mostly support their party regardless of how much they lie to us, how much they steal from us. As a people, we have enabled these politicians, we've practically begged them to lie to us with our blind loyalty.
Only way to fix the country, to stop the corruption in the system is for the people to stop with the party loyalty.
