It’s been nearly two full years since Brock Lesnar’s most recent UFC fight, and the talk has been that Lesnar will (again) come out of retirement and return to the Octagon following the completion of his WWE contract.

UFC president Dana White, who said Lesnar is going to be back in his promotion soon, spoke to TMZ Sports about Lesnar’s future.

“I know that Brock’s WWE deal is up at the end of the summer, I think, and I know he wants to fight so I’m sure we’ll end up getting that figured out,” White said.

Recent UFC title challenger Francis Ngannou has expressed interest in taking on the former champion, and while White acknowledged Ngannou as a potential opponent for Brock’s return, he also…

He will never read this, or perhaps maybe he will, but I admire this man. He will never know how much I truly mean this. Not for his business tactics or promotional skills, so his whole proffession basically, but his optimistic viewpoints.

This is a man who has said in the past that he walks through Vegas with trashbags of money, calling Jason Aldean (a potential victim of a shooting) a coward, says Conor is coming back, assuming Carono is gonna fight Rousey, that those fighters will totes sign if he posts said fight on Twitter, and numerous other things that only blind optimism can lead to. Then suggesting that Francis is a great fight for Lesnar on his return, can only smile like a proud parent at their kid’s first grade play. I do not have a son, or a daughter, but if I did, I want them to be like Dana until they are 8 years old max.

Of course
Its the biggest non Conor fight UFC can make & they are 100% about making money

I am surprised Brock hasn't re-entered USADA yet

Most likely was alluding to a Joney Jones fight to have a bargaining chip in his back pocket for Vince.

Don’t think hes really interested at all. Need Reem to call him out again, to be sure.

But what better chip to have than re-entering USADA
That will show Vince he is serious & also gets him closer to a $6-10m payday from UFC

Thats an excellent point, it may be due to him being on something, possibly? WWE already said they don’t test him. So doesn’t need to cycle at the moment.

Not sure how steroids work or the cycling proccess, just ignorant assumption.

I get that, but if he is leaving in August (or might), its only two months difference
He would still look huge in August at SummerSlam & might be ready for NYE

now (if he waits) its early 2019 or maybe even the July card which will be three years since 200

Maybe he's waiting on the outcome of Jones's USADA case?

Btw, do you have any idea of when that is?

Do they not test the fighters in the testing pools when they enter? Was always under the impression is they do “randomally”, but its scheduled to a degree. I would not be shocked if wrong on that

I'm confused by that

If Lesnar "un-retires" he has about 6 months left on his suspension & the 6 month USADA re-entering period (of testing)

Horrible match up for Brock.
You don’t think Brock could get the takedown? Jon isn’t a devastating puncher. I would hope Brock could walk through a couple and throw him on his face. That’s because i always hope to see Jon get his face turned into putty. However, you are probably right. This would probably be no different. Jon would run from Brock faster than he ran from USADA and faster than the car crash long enough to tire out the big fella then pepper him from the outside. Once he’s gassed Jon could do whatever he wanted to Brock.

I feel like there was a miscommunication somewhere, but you are a quality poster which means I am very very lost.

Jon can stuff plenty of brock's take downs (DC is a better wrestler rhan Brock imo) and he hits WAAAAYYY harder then most think and can really hurt Brock (who never liked getting hit). Also Jon's subs are not to be slept on and he could catch brock coming in or on a transition.
