Thursday morning in Brooklyn, New York, Conor McGregor appeared at a courthouse along with his teammate Cian Crowley and their legal team. Both Irish fighters are facing assault charges stemming from an April incident prior to UFC 223.

The session was very brief, with McGregor’s team informing the court that they plan to negotiate a plea deal. The next appearance was then set for July 26, where they are expected to enter the actual plea.

McGregor issued a statement to the assembled media outside the courthouse shortly after.

“I regret my actions that led to today,” he said. “I understand the seriousness of this matter and I am hopeful this will get worked out. Thank you.”

12 charges and only one of them was a felony that lawyer is a miracle worker. conor should have gotten convicted of a felony and deported. he will murder someone or be murdered in the near future if he keeps committing crimes.the only light at the end of the tunnel is if he does mess up again he will probably get a felony next time.

I feel bad for chiesa and borg the justice system let them down I bet if they jumped conor and beat his ass with a dolly they would be charged with more felonies.

No chance
He cost them wages & they were injured
he will settle & they will make bank
Much more than if they fought a few times
Yeah he’ll have to pay them something in damages, for sure.

I think conor will weasel his way out of a lawsuit somehow.
Considering how long it took for the UFC to get a licence there, that's not happening.

I don't want him to be hung out to dry, but there needs to be an example made out of it.

Fuckdamn, I really quite like him, I don't want him banged up for it. Can you imagine the amount of press at his first day of community service?
Mental.

I thought it was a highly effective promo gone wrong. Not really Conor's fault dummy Dana forgot to make sure the plexiglass windows got installed. The company better stroke a check to make this go away.

RaginCajun @RaginCajun
Other boards have trolls that are just complete jackasses & all they do is attack & post stupidity.
He is a Conor fanboy & has fun with it
That seems harmless & shouldn't get a rise
But I haven't been here as long as others so I have no idea of the history

If they don't they gotta be pretty dumb.

If I got glass in my eyes from some jackass throwing a dolly through a bus window
of people he couldn't even see I'd sue for every damn dime they had.

That was some punk ass shit

Plus it isn't like he doesn't have the money to settle
He sat out for a year (will be 2 from MMA) because he has so much money

On the other hand...do you really want to be responsible for mothballing the bosses' cash cow?

You better hope you have a whale on the line.
