Remember when they won the title last season and people were calling him the best player in the league when it could argues he isn't even the best player on his team? Yeah, that.
he is the best player on his team, & a good case could be made he's the best player in the league, he certainly was the best player on the floor during the finals. so do you have anything, maybe a stat or metric, that back your case up? B/c saying the 2nd best player in the league might be the most overrated basketball player b/c he's not the best is laughable

Scottie Pippen. He was a good player, on offense and defense, but he wasn't much when he wasn't riding Jordan's coattails. Sure as hell not a top 50 player of all time.

Holy God almighty, Pippen is actually the most underrated of the top 50 players all time, wow, epic fail by you man, lol

mike piazza he was an awful defensive player with a terrible arm he should have never been a catcher, only skill he had was hitting homeruns.
Piazza called a good game & could block the plate well, throwing out runners was the only area he was truly awful. Mets pitchers loved him.

hit .300 for over 10 years (lifetime BA of .308) & always around 30-40 HRs during the (inflated) roid years. more of a complete hitter than most IMO, never really thought of him as just a slugger.

the 2nd best player being the most overrated player in any sport is a good case
When analysts and fans alike insist on telling me that the 2nd best player in the league (arguable) is in fact the best player in the league. That's the definition of over rated.
