Reds have won 5 in a row over the Cubbies.
14 of their last 18
Take away that horrid 3-18 start and they're 36-31 on the season.

Currently 1.5 games from crawling out of the cellar in the NL Central

Scooter still leads the NL in batting average (but is 3rd in AS voting for 2nd basemen? GTFO)
Suarez leads the NL in RBI (but is 4th in AS voting for 3rd basemen? GTFO)

Harvey's on the bump today, hoping to continue to make the Mets look like dumbasses and help the Reds pull off one of the greatest flip trades in history.

If the Reds don't get some respect soon, they'll just be taking it from here on out.

Not if you sort all of MLB by record.
Then they're like 8th last.

So there.

Don't get all pissy because the Cards have dropped 6 of their last 10 and are quickly approaching that same .500 mark that the Reds are, it's just that Cincy is coming at it from a different direction.

Reds go against Lester today. Which means I'll be pissed off.
They are facing a guy that can't throw to 1st base yet, sacrificing aside, there won't be any bunts put down to take advantage of his mental block.

I do hope Billy H gets on base though.

Down 4-0 with 2 on and 2 out in the top of the 9th, Reds rally for 7 runs over the Indians. They won 7-4.

The go-ahead shot was a bases-clearing, bases loaded double by Votto.

That was so fun to watch.

As good as the Indians starters are, their pen is equally as bad, although this one can be chalked up to a huge mistake. The wrong pitcher was warmed up in the pen. Indian's manager (Terry Francona) requested that "OP" get ready (Oliver Perez), but that request was understood as "OT" (Dan Otero's nickname).

So when the Reds pulled to within 1 at 4-3 and the bases loaded and Votto up with 2 outs, Francona called for the lefty (Perez) to come in. But that's not who had been warming up in the pen. The collective "WTF!" from the entire Indian's infield was classic when they saw the righty Otero running to the mound. Votto crushed a double to the wall, giving the Reds the lead and, eventually, the win.

Why is there only one from the AL? I usually tune in to the HR derby but this lineup has me unmotivated to watch. Hopefully this is a off year and the HR derby isnt going the way of the slam dunk competition

I noticed that. No idea.
And these guys aren't exactly the biggest mashers in the game. Kind of weak.
