Tag (2018) w/ Ed Helms, Jeremy Renner, Hannibal Burress, Jon Hamm

"A small group of former classmates organize an elaborate, annual game of tag that requires some to travel all over the country."

Had some funny parts but overall was kind of disappointing. Didn't seem like a good enough idea to make an entire movie out of. Great cast.

I too saw Teen Titans Go because my kids watch the TV show.

Movie was basically a long, below average TV episode.

I think I fell asleep twice.

Sometimes you watch movie you haven't heard of, and it enjoy it more than 90% of the hyped Hollywood regurgitated shit.

That movie was Calibre. No special effects, famous actors or big budgets, just a damn fine movie.

m:i fallout, this film is very overrated by critics ,it was a fun film just overrated. seemed to do some the same things done in rogue nation like the bike stunts, reusing soloman kane etc. I still think ghost protocol was the best m:i film.

Send Me No Flowers

Doria Day, Rock Hudson, Tony Randall
1964

7/10

Rock plays a hypochondriac who thinks he's dying, so he sets about looking for a suitable husband to make sure his wife (Doris Day) is taken care of after he's gone.

Tony Randall is the neighbor and close friend of Rock. He goes on a 3 day bender when he gets the news and - in my opinion - sort of steals the movie. He's a funny dude.

Predictable movie centered around misunderstandings, but it's pretty good. A couple of jokes about the shoe size of Doris Day's old college flame were a bit surprising for a movie that showed the married couple sleeping in twin beds.

Although they did show Rock and Randall sharing a bed after Rock got kicked out of his house. Come to think of it, the entire scenario of Rock looking for a man for his wife is fairly ironic.

The Lives of Others (2006)

"In 1984 East Berlin, an agent of the secret police, conducting surveillance on a writer and his lover, finds himself becoming increasingly absorbed by their lives."

This movie is awesome. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. Especially if you are a history buff and are into how bad socialism is.

The Cider House Rules (1999) w/ Tobey Maguire, Michael Caine, Paul Rudd, Charlise Theron

"A compassionate young man, raised in an orphanage and trained to be a doctor there, decides to leave to see the world."

Great movie. It was nominated for best picture. Highly recommend this one.

The Meg (2018)

6/10

Pretty generic flick. No where near as thoughtful or suspenseful as Jaws. Runs to long for such a shallow script.
