I am going to win even after he threw a dolly through the window of a bus full of co-workers. It'll be announced in the next week or two. There's no way you actually still think you have the upper hand here. I thought Conor fans were he delusional ones?
I'm convinced Conor will only really return when he needs money despite his media statements. These legal fees likely drained a bunch of his cash, but not enough to get him in with Khabib. If he does return, the UFC will have to be throwing $50 million+ at him and I only see that kind of dough in a GSP fight. If he does do Khabib, it's at a steep discount and that means he's in trouble.

What convinces you of that?

Have you noticed his change in social media activity lately? He always adjusts when a fight is about to be announced. Helwani is reporting that they are targeting October 6th. Multiple other outlets saying the same. Dana is talking about it as if its going to happen, and when Dana lies about those things it's typically after the opportunity is gone. Conor just had a pretty serious legal issue and Dana is already laying the groundwork for justifying letting him fight so soon after. Big press conference this Friday before a shit fight card.

It's happening, and it's happening before our bet ends.

For all our sakes, I hope you're right because I don't want LW to be an unsettled question, but I'm just too skeptical of the Conor show post Mayweather.

Yes sir. I mentioned that up there in my ramblings ^ Haha

EDIT: I also think it is a substantial point that they are doing this presser before a dogshit PPV card. Press conferences are supposed to either gain interest or borrow interest, and they ain't borrowing interest from Saturday's card. Sounds like they are going to have to make a splash at that presser.

He’s back... but isn’t $50 million a bit high .. like wouldnt that be like half their revenue???

If the fight does 2million buys, that’s 100 million dollars ($50 per ppv right?). Plus gate revenue. I guess they make money from sponsors and advertisements but that can’t be more than a couple million per event right? Do they get other money on top of that?? They have to pay for expenses like advertising the event, the venue, other fighters, etc.

I agree with this, but he got 100 million for Floyd which means his value is high and that he could afford to sit out his life until that 100 million was largely burned through. It seems almost ridiculous to fight for 10 million after having gone that high. So the fact that he's taking this fight means one of three things: A) He's already burned through a ton of money, B) He needs to satisfy his contract so he can get out of it and do other things or C) He's actually dumb enough to think defending his belt matters. 100 million is F you I'm out money, especially added to what he's made before. Continuing to get punched in the face for a living for far less after climbing that mountain means something ain't right.

If a UFC PPV (priced at $65) does 2m buys, they would get about $80-85m from PPV
With gate & sponsors about $100-110m
