A friend of mine offered to teach me how to fly, he was a flight instructor at embry riddle in his previous job and has his own cessena, he was pissed off that he never used it and was gonna teach me for free just so it didn't sit there doing nothing and costing him fees for nothing. Wish I had taken up his offer.Plane crashed. No passengers on board, only the "pilot" (an airplane mechanic like @Throbby Fart)
No confirmation yet but it sounds like he dead.
Well Fuck man, just put it out on the internet for the Al queadas to seeTSA's focus on passengers is well documented, but the security of the people working out on the runways is laughable at best. Once people are cleared for employment and have their badge, most airports treat it like any other job. Scan the badge and clock in. No metal detectors. No scans. Nothing. It's a gaping hole in security that my buddy who works in the industry has been complaining about for years.

They scare the fuck out of me also....on my honeymoon we had to fly in a small propeller plane to the main island.....I was holding on for dear life the entire 30 minutesA friend of mine offered to teach me how to fly, he was a flight instructor at embry riddle in his previous job and has his own cessena, he was pissed off that he never used it and was gonna teach me for free just so it didn't sit there doing nothing and costing him fees for nothing. I've only ever been up in a small plane once. It was in Addison, Texas
Second day at a new job, my boss took me and my other new Co worker up in the company plane for an aerial view around town
It scared the shit out of me. I'll stick to riding on big planes
Because they are in the concourseWhy are pilots going through the metal detector with me then?
Because they are in the concourse

makes me feel kind of sad for Rich.
If you see a pilot going through TSA, they likely parked in general like everyone else or they are on layover and chilling out in the concourse.I don't know what the means. I just pointed out witnessing something other than this...
That was sad to hear tbh
That was... sad. To hear a broken man having one last hoorah before ending it. I think it got a little dusty when he mentioned making a circle around Mt. Rainier and how beautiful it was.
