comparing different eras is not fair

a fighter from later era of course should be better since the ones before paved the way by their success and failures, and the fighter from later era observing all of that at an earlier stage of their development and evolving with that knowledge will make them 100% better than their predecessors.

if prime DC fought Fedor, DC probably win.
if prime Lebron played prime Jordan 1 on 1, LBJ will most likely beat MJ due to his more all around skill and bigger physique but does it mean he'd have done what Jordan accomplished? HELL No, he choked so many times and his whiny ass wouldn't have survived the badboys D.

if one dominated in one era, should be recognized as the great, even if they are all cans from today's standards cuz that's all there was in that era, those were the standards back then.
