It’s a rematch five years in the making, and it’ll happen at UFC 232.

Jon Jones will make his return to the octagon Dec. 29 against Alexander Gustafsson, two people with knowledge of the situation confirmed to MMAjunkie following an initial report by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani. The Jones-Gustafson rematch will be for the light heavyweight title, which current champion Daniel Cormier officially will be stripped of once the bell rings.

UFC 232 takes at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and airs on pay-per-view.

oh just predicting. i dont bet. i dont think its legal from ... oh actually it might be now in jersey. im not into that tho
It is 100% legal in your smog-ridden state now, but idk if the system is set up yet.

Priziesthorse @Priziesthorse is stressed as fuck because he can't decide whether he should spend his disposable income on coke or on sports gambling.

New Jersey sucks.

Who's betting on who?!
Right now Alex is a pretty significant underdog at around +225 (3.25) and Jones is a pretty significant favorite at around -236 (1.35), so the smart money is on Gus.

They're so closely matched overall that it's honestly a 50-50 fight imo.

also, if they're gonna strip DC, they should at least have the common courtesy to give both Alex and Jones an Interim Title. You know, for the poster and such...

Damn how I would love to see Gus win the belt. If he is ever going to, this is the time. If Jon is clean (big if), he has a legit shot.

Oh my fucking god, this would have been just fine without putting a belt on the line.

Just have it be an official title eliminator, wherein the winner gets an automatic title shot (assuming no draws, NCs, DQs, long-term injuries, drug failures, or Jon Jones pulling a Jon Jones).
