I don't know. It would be interesting to see. I don't think Cyborg would be able to muscle her around.
This might come down to conditioning. Cyborg can go full berserker, and if she doesn't tire, chute boxe wins, imo. No matter how strong a fighter is, if she weighs the same as Cris, she gets 'Borghandled.

I donno, if Gabi can get ahold of Cyborg it could be all over. Gabi isn't only a beast she's skilled as well.

I agree, but I still see Cyborg power bombing anyone who pulls guard. No matter what, it would be fun.

But I've never seen Gabi's MMA.

Comical.

I'd love to see a pic of Gabi standing next to Cris or Ronda.

I disagree. Cyborg was taken down by Carano twice and she weighed about the same when they fought. Also, Baszler took Cyborg down. If Gabbie closed the distance and got a hold of her I think she could do the same and once on the ground I'm confident she would win. Cyborg always gets into a clinch with her opponents but they aren't strong enough to take her down. Gabbie wouldn't have that problem.

I agree that Cyborg can be taken down. I just think she will muscle her way out of it or just stand and slam if someone jumps guard. Can't recall which fight, but I think that's what she did against Marloes.

When Carano got her down she couldn't get back up. Carano is not as good as Gabbie on the ground. Marloes is a 135er. Cyborg has no problem over powering smaller women. We've all seen it countless times. Gabbie would be the bigger woman. I think that in itself is fascinating enough to want to see.

Maybe we'll get to see what happens. Should be fun. Either way, it shouldn't be a homicide like the Jan Finney fight.

I don't think my comments have been out of control.. How so?
You wont let up about Cyborg as if you know whats its like to cut weight or what her body is like and how it responds to weight cutting and the fact that she is older already. You talk like because its easy for a former fat ass like Ronda to get to 35 that sure it should be no problem for Cyborg and any woman that is X height shouldnt be X weight. That is the argument of someone who has no idea about the body, nutrition, physiology etc. People just want to see Cyborg cut to nothing because Ronda is the champ of the UFC as if Cyborg being the champ of Invicta is worthless or being the champ of SF is worthless. No no only the UFC belt counts and only the UFC champ gets to the call the shots. Both have been calling each other out for years, in fact Ronda called Cyborg out first and started this whole thing and instead of fighting her in SF jumped to 35 to fight Meisha.

We are talking about muscle mass. Muscle atrophies if it's not maintained. You should know that if you have degrees in physiology and you're training bodybuilders. Cyborg was down to 160 lbs and added 15 lbs of muscle mass when she went to Invicta. People who believe once you add muscle it never goes away know nothing about how the human body works. If Cyborg started doing endurance training, cut her daily caloric intake and stop lifting weights like a body builder she would lose muscle mass. There are plenty of people who have done it and she's not a freak of nature that can't do it too. The want to is another story.

Despite how she looks, Cyborg is only 1 1/2 years older than Ronda. I don't know why you said, "and the fact that she is older already". The older that Cyborg gets the harder it will be to keep muscle because muscle naturally deteriorates with age. Once again, it needs to be actively maintained, which she is doing.

1. I've never said anything about x height/x weight.

2. I've seen plenty of people post about how Ronda is the same size as Cyborg. She fought at 145 lbs...she fought even higher in judo...blah...blah...blah. So either they are the same size and Cyborg can cut down to 135 lbs through diet just like Ronda or she's too damn big and needs to lose muscle. I don't care which it is. All I know is they are in two different weight classes right now and not even close to the same weight.

When I said Ronda cuts down to 135 lbs in 3 days (2 days with diet and 1 day of water drain) you said I didn't know anything, when in fact that's exactly what she does. Then when I asked you to tell me where I was wrong you never responded. Ronda works closely with Dolce for every weight cut. People like to shit on Dolce but most of these mma athletes that pay him for his expertise could afford to have any nutritionist in the world they wanted. The fact that they choose him counts for something in my book.

Also, when I talk about Cyborg cutting down to 135 lbs, I'm talking about dieting down, losing a little bit of muscle mass and then cutting a little water weight. I think when Cyborg talks about making 135 lbs she's talking about draining herself of water like she does to make 145. It's not going to happen. Maybe that's what her "doctors" meant by "she will die" because if she tried to drain that much water she probably would.

People just want to see Cyborg cut to nothing because Ronda is the champ of the UFC as if Cyborg being the champ of Invicta is worthless or being the champ of SF is worthless. No no only the UFC belt counts and only the UFC champ gets to the call the shots.
Pretty much correct about who has all the leverage. Although I do object to the reference "cut to nothing".

People who want to see Ronda lose want her to fight with as much disadvantage as possible. If that means giving up a 20 lb weight advantage then so be it. I don't think these people care if Cyborg is juiced to the gills during the fight either, as long as she gets away with it of course. Then you have people who want to see the fight on equal terms so skill can be the deciding factor, which is 135 lbs (Ronda would weigh around 147 and Cyborg would weigh 150 on fight night. That's about as close as it's going to get weight wise).

The math behind it: Cyborg weighed 160 lbs on fight night against Tweet, meaning she currently gains 15 lbs after rehydrating. If she gains 15 lbs after cutting to 135 she would weigh 150 lbs. Ronda weighed 147 lbs on fight night against Cat.

Both have been calling each other out for years, in fact Ronda called Cyborg out first and started this whole thing and instead of fighting her in SF jumped to 35 to fight Meisha.
The fight between them was scheduled for 145 lbs in late June/early July 2012. Cyborg beat up a tiny Asian woman to retain her title. Ronda beat up Tate. It was supposed to be champion versus champion just like Ronda talked about before she made the move to 135 lbs. Instead, Cyborg tested positive for anabolic steroids and the UFC proceeded to trash can the entire 145 lb division. Maybe Ronda would have lost that fight 3 years ago. Cyborg would have been all testosteroned up and Ronda would have had much less mma experience but it didn't happen and I for one am glad it didn't happen under those circumstances.

Since then, Ronda has only talked about Cyborg when asked about her. Cyborg on the other hand mentions Ronda every chance she gets, before and after their fights mainly since that's the only time anyone wants to interview her. It's smart on Cyborg's part because it keeps her in the conversation and relevant to some people.

Yeah and cyborg likes to have her strength when she fights same as everyone wants to use what is best during a fight, so why does she have to lose her muscle mass just to cut down to a weight that will drain her when they can easily meet at 140 and both be at their best. Keep using the steroid thing when we have seen in the past steroids doesn't mean you are going to win a fight but whatever you cyborg haters need to say to help you sleep at night. I don't even feel like reading all that shit and I didn't answer you because it's pointless just like me answering you now and before was pointless.

Oh and Big nog is also the same age as lots of fighters but is finished and has been finished. They might be close in age but cyborg has been fighting mma much longer and also Muay Thai because she isnt a pussy and not afraid to test herself unlike some people who hide behind a weight class as oppose to fighting to see who the best in the world is between the only two elite woman there are out there.

You just said it. Why does Ronda have to move up when she feels most comfortable at 135.

It is only ever happening at 135 so arguing about a catch weight is useless.it is what it is.this is the only way its going to happen
