Btw IschKabibble @IschKabibble I sent my mail ballot in this past Tuesday.

Voted for Andrew Gillum and Bill Nelson.

Also voted NO on amendment 3 but people are so stupid that it's gonna pass.

So when we want to build a new casino in Miami we'll need the people in fuckin Apalachicola to agree.

And a sports betting system will take forever, or until the Seminoles decide to use their monopoly to do it.

DeSantis/Nunez, Nelson just to cancel my neighbors vote and piss him off (Scott is a crook), yes on 3 because why not, and yes on 13 because leave the dogs alone.

Yes on 13 of course.

No on 3 because it only makes opening casinos more bureaucratic and allows the Seminole monopoly to grow.

There's a reason the Seminoles and Disney have donated tens of millions of dollars each to get this amendement to pass.

DeSantis is a Trump lackey, Scott isn't a native Floridian.

"It's not fair to the people who have been been working hard to become citizens of this country...waiting in line for 10 years. It's not fair to them. It's not fair to a lot of people."

I agree with what he said, but I would have loved a follow up question of "Why does it take 10 years to become a citizen here?"

Not really an issue in Central Florida, but I could see how that gets in the way of your fun down south. I've never been to a casino in my life, and have no plans to go in the near future. If I have to wait for a supermajority on recreational cannabis, you'll have to wait for supermajority on gambling.

The problem is that, if the amendment passes, the power to pass gambling laws is being taken away from the legislature and given to the voters.

That means that legalized sports gambling is just gonna take that much longer to be approved.

The Seminoles and Disney aren't spending millions of dollars to give voters more say over gambling laws, they're doing it to stifle prospective competition.

I started a new side gig for a few months and the group I work with (including 2 cuties with serious talent) are hardcore liberal. So rather than being the fly in the ointment with my right wing rhetoric, I decided to just blend in, which is a lot easier than I thought.

-Do a Trump impression by squinting your eyes and calling everything 'huuuuuuge'. To libs, you'll be funnier than Richard Pryor on the Sunset Strip.
-Talk about how Bernie is actually a moderate who wanted to bring America in line with other first world countries.

They have no clue I'm a right wing scumbag who would love to see Emperor Trump take over Canada and turn it into another state.

So your saying your political views make you unlikable so you have to pretend to be someone your not to fit in?

Sounds like a spineless move to me. A proud confident man would stand behind his convictions.

*you're. Put that education into action and try to make a post where you don't sound like a 7th grader.

When my 4 year old niece talks to me about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, what am I to do? Destroy her youthful exuberance with cold, real world truth? Of course not, and I've found it appropriate to apply the same principle to liberals, who are often equally inept in dealing with reality :D

A friend of mine was in DC for his daughter's soccer game when the Kavanaugh madness was going on. He was watching CNN and was a little concerned about heading into the area due to all the protests, but he ended up going down there and seeing what it was all about.

He isn't a political guy, but he said it was amazing to watch. He said media outnumbered the "protesters" 3:1

For the majority of the time they were there it was quiet and calm. The "protestors" were just sitting around bullshitting with each other. But then a guy from the media side would talk to someone from the "protester" side, and the protest organizer would head over to the group of 30 or so people who were sitting around and he'd select the amount of people they needed for the next live shot. For the next 3 minutes it would be complete chaos in the area they were filming at with people screaming and chanting. Then the shot would end, and all the protesters calmly walked back over to their area.

He said it was like he was watching a movie being filmed. Which, in a way, I guess he was.
