Originally planned for last week’s UFC 230, “Soldier of God” vs. “The Eraser” was tentatively moved to the Jan. 19 card in Brooklyn after Romero wasn’t medically cleared to compete at Madison Square Garden. Costa decided to wait for Romero, but has now been forced out of the card due to an injury, sources confirmed to MMA Fighting following a report by ESPN.

Costa, 12-0 as a professional MMA fighter, saw the bout against Romero as the last step before a shot at the UFC middleweight title. He won’t need surgery, but can’t recover in time to fight in January, sources said.

According to ESPN, Romero (13-3) is still hoping to headline the first UFC card on ESPN+, and he wants to face former 185-pound champion Anderson Silva.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKK!!!!!

Fights being cancelled left, right and center today!

Romero wants to lay waste to Anderson Silva as an alternative. Old man Anderson wants to fight a smaller Conor McGregor. Wake me up when this shit gets sorted out.

That sucks. Costa vs Stylebender would be a good one down the road now that I think about it.

I don't have any espn
I don't even have an antenna for local channels, let alone cable or other add-on channel packages.

I've said it on here a few times before, but will say it again :

UFC should make the fight pass cost more each month (lets say $20 or $25/month?) and that membership the gives you access to all events and portions of the cards.. Fuck needing to have 3 different avenues to watch a full card. Ridiculous business model IMO

Yep. I'm about to bail on all of them.

I may... Maaaaaaayyyyyy give ESPN+ a shot since it's only 5 bucks a month. But I'm going to cancel FP if I do it. DAZN is already gone.
5 bucks isn't too bad. But I hate the current model of needing multiple platforms.

I'd pay a higher rate for FP if it was more inclusive. Seems like a missed opportunity to me.....but what do I know, I'm not Built Like A Fighter so I probably don't get the big picture ;)

And that's only fights. Now for tv shows, movies, etc. Get the fuck outta here. Not doing it.
Exactly. As long time fans, I'm sure we're all excited to have so many fights. But it is getting overwhelming with how much content there is now, especially with these logistical complications with all the avenues one needs to watch.

I get fatigued trying to keep up. Kind of like when you scroll around Netflix for 30 minutes trying to find something to watch, and just give up and shut the tv off. Decision fatigue is real with me.

Definitely a couple of steps back from having it on one channel.
