Also, I wouldn't be surprised if some high level boxers had more. Just don't feel like combing thru boxrec to find out, lol...

I wonder what Reem will look like in ten years when he is Chuck's age? Chuck was already punch drunk at this point in his career and was ko'd far less. Maybe's Alistair's weak chin has reduced the damage he has taken......?
He was pretty clear and no slurs when I met him in 2017.

Bob Sapp belongs on the list especially if you combine KO/TKOs with Submissions due to strikes.
In MMA:
9 KO/TKOs
5 Submissions via strikes

In Kickboxing:
13 KO/TKOs

ah c'mon quite a few of those were accelerated finishes. as far as i recall, and no doubt some bright spark will jack-in-a-box to call me a cunt, but i don't think Bob was KO'd/flat-lined many times. just got hit and turtled/quit, in situations where Gary Goodridge would eat another dozen hard shots before it was over. that's just my fucking opinion.

not trying to be disrespectful to Bob but i do have eyes. sorry Bob.

fair play, no denying that. I definitely appeared to downplay those shots sent flying at him. I would shit my fucking pants before that. he shit his pants afterwards, so i bow in respect to him. but he is also a lunatic. so conflicted bro.

I don't know. Being on a lot of drugs in the past (i.e. they aren't in your system when you are in the cage) shouldn't make you look as uncoordinated and unsteady on your feet as a toddler...........................
Even if you clean up and are no longer a druggie/coke head or whatever.. the damage is still done. It doesn't just go away. Brain damage from drugs is real and doesn't leave the body when the drug leaves the system. Combine that with the brain damage from fighting... It certainly doesn't help. On top of that, I think Chuck has some hip or other injuries going on.

We don't know who took more hard shots to the head in training over their 2 decade careers in martial arts. The night of the fight is like 1/100th of what actually happens in a fighter's career in terms of damage.

Plus every person/fighter is different. That's the thing. You have a guy like George Chuvalo, who ate so many hard shots in BOXING at heavyweight, it's unbelievable.. and he never was knocked out, and speaks clear as anyone else, at 81 years old. Then you have someone like Meldrick Taylor who was absolutely shot by his early 30s, and took punches at welterweight.

Each case is totally unique to the person, but when you add hardcore partying and years upon years of recreational drug use, it's certainly not going to help. You can see how it degraded Conor in his prime - now add all that in with Chuck's age, the previous KOs etc. If he was clean all those years and living a healthy lifestyle, I'm sure Chuck would have looked a lot better than he did, doing what he has been doing.

only a drug like meth is going to destroy someone's body in the way you are talking about. Maybe crack to a degree. Heroin or opioids won't do it and coke will only muck up your heart.

Getting slapped and then falling down for a tko and asking how long to wait before you can cash the check does not count as a knockout.........

Nope. Not at all. Coke will fuck up ur heart. Opiods will only make u not eat and get skinny (not even always).
think whatever you like.. but you're wrong. Coke and opiods will fuck people up and ruin their athletic abilities. Jones will suffer later on because of his coke binges.
