UFC welterweight contender Kamaru Usman put on a solid performance on Friday during the TUF 28 finale with a one-sided unanimous decision win over former 155-pound champion Rafael dos Anjos. It had earned him a lot of respect and recognition, particularly from UFC president Dana White, who is willing to have him face champion Tyron Woodley, next.

But if it were up to Usman himself, he would rather settle a personal score with Colby Covington.

“I’ve said it before that it would be good to take the title away from Tyron because Tyron has been a long champion, defended the belt several times and he is the guy,” Usman said on Monday’s episode of the Ariel Helwani MMA…

I'm down for either fight, but it sounds like Usman wants to get another win under his belt and some dough, he seems pretty confident, and this might get some eyeballs rather then the fight after Woodley.
