Less than a week before UFC 232, Jon Jones tested positive for trace amounts of Turinabol. It is the same substance found in his system after UFC 214 in July 2017, which led to a 15-month suspension.

With no ample time to conduct a thorough investigation, the Nevada State Athletic Commission refused to license Jones. This urged the UFC to move the fight from Las Vegas to The Forum in Inglewood, when the California State Athletic Commission decided to license the former light heavyweight champion.

Hours later, USADA released an official statement, trying to shed some light and explain the situation.

what an absolute JOKE! Not only is their "scientific research" sketchy at best, this totally undermines the credibility of athletic commissions.

it's like asking your other parent for something when the 1st one said no.

Today Juicy Jones can take a triple dose of his designer PED that only leaves traces of detectable metabolites
Great day for MMA
No more Juicing in the shadows and back alleys and feeling Guilty

Juice Weasel is a brilliant nickname for Jones.

So who does Jon have pics of for them to be willing to jump through so many hoops for him?

Might as well stop drug testing since the results are meaningless...unless you're an undercard fighter.

No performance enhancement? Is that relevant now, all of a sudden?
I would guess. First it was any substance found would get a fighter suspended, then, intent came in the picture: "well, if the fighter didn't know, he must be innocent". Hence the rise of tainted supplements excuses. Since they already used this example on this particular fighter, now they'll have to go with something like,"well, if the fighter didn't benefit from it, then he is innocent".

As if USADA's credibility wasn't already in question, it's now dead on arrival.

This, on top of Brock’s magic disappearing test, hard to take this seriously. Cleaning up the sport has never really seemed like an urgent cause in the company, given when Georges was campaigning for it, Daner said he was acting odd.

“The trace amounts show know evidence of beinf performance enhacing.” Cute. Real cute. Might as well just be honest here, “We don’t care.”

Would be disappointing if it wasn’t for the whole picture already being comical.

They need to appoint a special council to get to the bottom of this

It's more like, cleaning up the positive test results.
Wasn’t there reports that Vitor had something going on before his fight with Jon? That didn’t come out until much later?

The real detail out of all this, and I am being admittedly cynical here, is that they know commonly MMA fans don’t stay outraged over these things, which leads to lazy excuse statements. Don’t want to say we are conditioned to roll our eyes and eventually move on with all the silly shit, however, maybe.

This is not the language of an unbiased drug testing agency. Who the fuck is the testing
agency to determine if there was any performance gained. How can they possibly know what
performance Jones gained for popping T Bol?

Furthermore, are we now basing clean or unclean piss tests on if the athlete got enhanced performance from it??

WTF!!

You cant take a fucking aspirin with USADA and not get popped and aspirin is not PED enhancing either

Nor weed nor a full 75% of the shit they fuck up fighters careers for.

FUCK YOU USADA YOU LYING SACK OF CORRUPT SHIT!
