A light heavyweight matchup between two top ten fighters is being slated for the UFC’s annual London event. Several reports have claimed that a bout between Volkan Oezdemir and Dominick Reyes will likely be part of the ESPN+ card this March.

Currently situated at the number five spot in the official rankings, Oezdemir gained major recognition following two emphatic knockout wins in 2017. This will he the fight that gets reyes to contention. He beats volkan then i think the ufc will try to book him against shogun to set up reyes fighting jon jones. Thats my prediction of the year

Ufc will probably make him beat another guy after volkan. Volkan is getting turned into a top 5 gatekeeper. I wouldnt mind seeing reyes against corey anderson or thiago santos but the ufc will likely look at long term value. Thus feeding him lil nog or shogun who dont have alot left to offer. Reyes is young and they will make investments in him
