Floyd Mayweather is organising Tenshin Nasukawa's next fight after dismantling him in December

Floyd Mayweather has told journalists that WBA Super Featherweight champion Gervonta Davis will fight kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa in April.

Last night, 24-year-old Davis, who is promoted and mentored by Mayweather, beat former world champion Hugo Ruiz in Carson, California, in a one-sided bout that failed to reach the second round.

Ruiz was a late replacement for original opponent Abner Mares, who pulled out of the fight due to injury a week ago.

And now, it appears his next fight will be in Japan against Nasukawa in an exhibition match, Mayweather told reporters last night following his fighter’s victory.

The Japanese was unceremoniously beaten by Mayweather on New Year’s Eve, who needed just 136 seconds to force Tenshin’s corner to throw in the towel.

“We're talking about May [for Davis' next fight], if that's okay with him.

"He got an exhibition bout with the guy Tenshin in Japan, in April. He is fighting Tenshin in an exhibition match in Japan, in RIZIN. I'm proud of Tank. He is going to stay active. So first it's Tenshin in April and then in May it's the real fight," Mayweather said.

Whilst the fight details have yet to be released, it promises to be another money-making venture for Mayweather, the former five-weight world champion.

He reportedly earnt more than £60 million for his fight against Nasukawa in December.

The bout was a mismatch, with Mayweather physically far too big to sustain any real damage against a fighter who was unable to use his most dangerous weapons - his feet - due to the rules imposed by the American’s team.

By the end of the fight, Nasukawa was reduced to tears, such was the onslaught that he faced at the hands of his rival.

It is expected to be a similar story when ‘Tank’ Davis, who remains unbeaten, makes his way to Tokyo. He should have no difficulty dispatching the kickboxer with ease.

With the up-and-coming Davis touted as one of boxing’s future stars, the match-up in Japan will no doubt increase his notoriety, as well as the numbers in his bank account.

If it’s pure boxing, Davis will fuck him up in a way that Mayweather never could. WTF is this shit they’re doing?

Tenshin needs to tell Japan to go fuck Godzilla, move to the states, and partake in some real fights. The Japanese are gonna ruin his legacy waay before he even has one at this rate
