Captain Marvel was ok. Wasn’t a great movie, I’d rank it near the bottom of the marvel movies. I’d go as far to say that if it wasn’t for the current political climate that the movie would not exist at all. It seemed as though it was an afterthought that got jammed into a timeline that had already been set out.
That being said. It wasn’t fucking horrible and the reaction that it has had across the internet is strange to say the least. I do not want any SJW to control my movies but after watching CM I didn’t see anything so heavy handed that I wouldn’t be happy for my daughter to see.
Captain Marvel wasn’t a great movie but I will definitely watch it (wonder woman first) with my daughter. Strictly because there are so few movies that portray a cool strong female lead.

Olsen as SW is fucking great. Too bad they are shitting on her work along with Johannsens.. I dont like scarlett as BW but you can tell she cares. Larsen is garbage and they are banking the future of the franchise on a SJW lol. Get woke, go broke.

As for the movie... it was okay. Yes, her acting was bad/dull.
But overall, I'd place it in the range of Dr. Strange or Ant-Man. Not great, but definitely not terrible. Middle of the pack Marvel movie.
It's only doing as well as it is because people want to see the Avengers connection, in anticipation of EndGame.

No it's not.
It's doing well because the marketing campaign targeted their demographic successfully, just like Black Panther did theirs.
Both movies are subpar and raked in the dough on hype.
No one gives a shit how Captain Marvel fits in to Endgame, she's a Johnny-come-lately riding Hollywood's obsessive #MeToo train, which sadly & ironically starts and ends in the same town that points it's finger at "normal" America.
Mom's & dad's just took their daughter's to make them happy; similar scenario with the other movie^^.

They wrecked that message though imo with the 'I'm just a girl' song during her ass-kicking scene. If young girls watched the film without that song they may think its cool and totally normal to have a female hero. But that girl throws the issue back in your face and makes you contemplate the irony of the lyrics, setting whatever SJW agenda they are trying to push backwards 10 years/.
Judging from this video & my own crush, Elizabeth Olson will probably accidentally kill Brie "Dolezal" Larson in the next installment.
