WWE sparked to the idea of a joint venture, given that the company had been looking to expand into the lifestyle fitness ring with its own products. ... This will be the company's 31st “WrestleMania.” Tapout was founded by Charles “Mask” Lewis, Dan “Punkass” Caldwell and Timm “Skyskrape” Katz, and sold to ABG in 2010.

Was never into the line, but mom knew I was a fighthead, so she bought me this for Christmas one year a loooong time ago, pink of all colors.
I used to have pretty debauchery-filled fight parties for many moons with a bunch of broads.
Alotta Boone's Farm loosened up a lot of legs with this cup.

Tapout went from our only way to signal to others that you watched this weird maybe gay sport to the universal uniform of douchebag MMA fans to the universal symbol of douchebaggery writ large and now is basically discount stuff from Target you see a lot of in size XXXL in rural secondhand stores.

LOL those guys..... Hell not just them, there were a LOT of upstart MMA t-shirt companies early on, and other MMA related entities that have disappeared.

They need to do a whole "Where are they now?" series on everyone from Full Contact Fighter to Tapout, to Rival, Silver Star, Bad Boy, etc

This was the fighter lifestyle wear back in the early days. You needed a shaved skull, goatee and big fat gut to really pull the look off though.

Yeah, there's definitely was the biggest eyesore. I always liked FC Fighter as far as t shirts went. I believe they were first to market a line of 'lifestyle clothing' too. I remember Big Daddy Goodridge wearing their t shirt and thinking 'nice mma shirt'.in around '96 in an interview with Michael Landsberg on TSN in Canada.
