Yee they become gun-shy and can never pull the trigger like they used to...Usually after a KO that humiliating, the bounce back makes a boring fighter.
That would be a shame in MVP's case.
I don’t think MVP knows how to be boring. I think he may work on his defense, but I don’t think he will become gun shy.Usually after a KO that humiliating, the bounce back makes a boring fighter.

He can be very boring if his opponent doesn't wamt to pay his game. His fight with Rickles was painfully boring iirc. Same with Gonzalez.I don’t think MVP knows how to be boring. I think he may work on his defense, but I don’t think he will become gun shy.
I didn't think Rickles was boring, I saw it as a display...it certainly wasn't an "engaged" contest. He can be very boring if his opponent doesn't wamt to pay his game. His fight with Rickles was painfully boring iirc. Same with Gonzalez.
MVP is an attribute-based fighter. This was going to eventually happen, as it does to anyone flashy. Die by the sword. The next fight will be the second act of MVP's career. I tend to doubt he has "basics". He relies on movement and speed.I don’t think MVP knows how to be boring. I think he may work on his defense, but I don’t think he will become gun shy.
