I don’t think that they will dissolve in hydrocarbons, at least I don’t believe they will react and form has like they do in water. The will likely disintegrate and foul the fuel filter.

Try a banana in the tailpipe
Foot long Tootsie Roll projected as far up pipe as possible will smell horrible (burnt hair bad) and last quite awhile. Another good one is to pull back weatherstripping around a side window and drop a few ball bearings in there, the rattling will drive the victim crazy.

Lets assume they do react somehow we are missing...then what? Well nothing major I think...

NaHCO3 dissolves in water, releasing CO2. So what? Nothing. CO2 will just vent out the breather hose.

But looking at the compounds involved...

Gasoline is isooctane, butane, 3-ethyltoluene, and a little octane enhancer, per wikipedia.

I'm not convinced they will react either.
Only the octane enhancer might interact with the oxygen and methyl group available. Probably just make a slow and sludgy mess. And I'd bet youd need a lot of them to foul a modern filter.
