Nice, just watched a few minutes...will have to finish later.

Kind of funny to see Marc Laimon in there.....whatever happened to that guy? The last I remember of him was Serra punking him on TUF, and then Team Take Down (or whatever it was called) falling apart when Big Rig left the gym.

WOW! Great find Rambo! Crazy thing is I remember this episode from when it first aired, but never made the connection with Cowboy (or Elliott Marshall or Duane Ludwig).

I was backstage at some local fights that had the Rosholt brothers fighting. Laimon is every bit the dickhead people say he is. The Rosholt brothers were cool.

Blast from the past! lol

The outfits they had SkYsKrApE (or whatever it is...) wear are ridiculous.

He has got to be the busiest MMAist that fought in top promotions the entire way.

WEC was a great promotion, the UFC got some brilliant fighters when the absorbed their roster, Cerrone amoung the best.

That was great. Funny that even back then Cowboy said he was a slow starter. Wondering if Jackson scooped him up after that as I never knew he was originally with Bang.

he's a modern day throw bk fighter.. no politics or hand picking.. just fight whomever when ever Forever..a mans man that will be to Budweiser what the Marlboro man was to Cigs... The crazy thing is that he's actually in his prime mentally and he's in tremendous physical shape as well plus he's even spiritually elevated.. fatherhood actually has taught him to harness his skills and be more methodical and actually is thinking clearly during his fights .. he use to self destruct mentally whenever a guy got into his head.. now it seems his relaxed and respectful approach during the whole process has worked to his advantage.... he's getting better every year he ages and that's scary.

Great Post
I love the no nonsense guys like Cowboy and Shogun types....many more guys like that but those are two of my favorites

As you said though Cowboy is as good as ever and definitely evolving...and some guys at his age are done, fading, or just relying on the same old playbook and skills.
Thing about Cowboy to me is, that he is so ready to hit you with any of the 8 limbs quickly and with some power.

Tony and Him are just a great test for each other, this is gonna be interesting.

Cowboy is probably one of the best fighters ever. Nobody can say he left a stone unturned or didnt do absolutely everything.

He just needs a title belt one day and he literally has done it all. If Bisping can get one, surely Cowboy can... just needs the stars to align, in his current form he is more likely than ever... Although Tony was whooping him in that 2nd round... so who knows
