It was a great end too. Threw a 232 yard dart with my 3 hybrid within 4ft of the pin for a birdie putt... In true high handicap fashion, I missed it.Congrats! That I wasn’t playing behind you.
Happy Bday!

Take the hint, and congratulations. And it was my first time walking 18
Haha not this time. Came close on a few holes. Honestly my putting is atrocious. I can play my mis-hits back to the green, but miss what should be easy putts. No snowmen either. Look at you!

they had a long-drive competition on during a work-lunch at the brewery, those dudes were built like TRT Vitor and cranking 375 yards .Drive for show

I always found it odd. People will proudly show off their new $300 driver that they'll use on 4 holes but balk at spending that much money on a putter.Drive for show

Honestly, the more I learn about course management, the more I opt for my 3 wood or even 3 hybrid over the driver. The ebb and flow of the course doesn’t always mesh well with bombing the driver off the tee. Don’t get me wrong, if it’s a straight and clear par 4 or 5, I try to rip the cover off, but I tend to club down when I need to for a better follow up shot.I always found it odd. those dudes are jacked, using oversized custom drivers with like 6* loft, and tee it about a foot in the air.they had a long-drive competition on during a work-lunch at the brewery, those dudes were built like TRT Vitor and cranking 375 yards .
And the bad thing is I hate my putter. It came with the Nike set I bought off a dude and I tried to like it, but I just hate the mallet style. Thinking of going do a fitting for a Scotty or Odyssey bladeDrive for show

I usually tee of with a 5 iron. Haha.I always found it odd. People will proudly show off their new $300 driver that they'll use on 4 holes but balk at spending that much money on a putter.
You don't hit a 5 iron 200 yards. The average tour pro hits a 5 iron 190. The longest guys can crank a 5 iron 200plus but most around 190.I usually tee of with a 5 iron. Haha.
It's boring, but I hit it 200 yards dead straight. Usually sets me up quite nicely for the approach shot.
The key to scoring well in golf is to make the green in regulation and never 3 putt.
I don't remember the last time I used my driver. The extra yardage I get on it over my 3 wood is often negated by the exasperated slice that comes along with the old numero uno. I decided to focus on using my 6 iron down, it made a big difference and got me consistently shooting in the 90's.Honestly, the more I learn about course management, the more I opt for my 3 wood or even 3 hybrid over the driver. And they hit a custom 5-iron blade that far. The average golfers mostly use GI irons. I’m hitting my Nike Vapor Fly 5I about 175 average. When I drilled that hybrid yesterday, it was all due to a perfect lie right at the lip of a slight down slope and wind was to my back. It was the definition of a once in a lifetime shot. You don't hit a 5 iron 200 yards. The average tour pro hits a 5 iron 190. The longest guys can crank a 5 iron 200plus but most around 190.

How exactly are you going to measure this? You want to put money on it?
I could video my next trip to the range.
