A couple years ago I went really nuts in the gym mainly curls. Both forearms were always sore. One day on a boat I lifted a scuba tank with all the gear attached and pop. I had it surgically repaired did PT before and after and really made sure not to over do it. I never went up to the same amount of weight etc etc. Curls don't bother it now but triceps pull downs, had to stop those. Standing chest presses with cables had to stop those. So I decided to take a few weeks off and see how it goes. 90% of the time it's fine but it's painful in a couple positions. It's not getting better. I guess I am trying to avoid the unavoidable. No pops this time. I guess I'm going to need an MRI to see what's really going on. This sucks as it's the same arm. Before the last MRI the OS said he's done PRP injections with good results so I'm hoping I can be a candidate for that as resting so far isn't working. I just don't feeling going through another surgery for the same thing.

Just focus on higher volumes on isolated exercises that don't aggravate it that's what I do

Muscle imbalance can be the cause of many injuries, but does not heal a popped tendon...it can take the strain off of an overloaded or injured one

Surgery sucks...the downtime can cause more problems as you likely know

Go full hot/full cold in shower a few times and see if you can get some relief...that trick has healed many an injury

That's what I did before I decided to just rest it for a couple weeks. It's been a week and I really feel the same. I know an MRI is what's needed to see what's going on but I guess I'm not ready for the bad news.

The doc can inject PRP into the tendon. I think it's around $1000 per. I would gladly due that a couple times if I could stay out of surgery.
Prolo is different and imo better you can get both

I tore both my biceps. One off the bone and one partial tear. They are going to hurt for awhile on and off. I went back to the surgeon several times after the repair because I was sure I damaged it. Turns out I didn't. They just hurt sometimes. When my bodyfat is super low they hurt worse. But if you work on your grip and forearms and listen to your body you will be fine. I do everything I did before plus more. Just benched 315 for reps today and curl all the time. You will likely be fine if you need an MRI get one. But my guess is it's just pain. Keep working out. Don't let it stop you gaybo
