Providing he doesn't whine like a bitch over bat flips, people walking on "his" mound or batters admiring a HR ball flight...I have zero issue with this. I like the intensity.
I played baseball for about 11 years, 7 close friends of mine even went pro.... I've NEVER understood the issue with bat flips. It's like when I played basketball, hitting the long 3 in someone's face, as the shot clock buzzed, and walking back up court with my hand up..... Back in the day, you could celebrate those moments, and it made your opponent want to come back harder after you, either striking me out, or blocking my shot.... THAT WAS THE GAME!!!! I agree with you, too much bitchassness today

Actually bat flips or watching too long would have had much worse repercussions back in "your day" Gramps.

A teenager in the 90's is a "Gramps" to you? Wait, you're older than me, what's that make you?

I'd say that the 70's and 80's you'd get beaned for that, 90's we loved the heated competition

I would have walked back into the batter’s box, said “Throw me another one then!”, then launched the ball deep over the centre field wall. Then I would have done a slow home run trot, and as I circled third, I would have grabbed the hottest women in the stands carried her out on to the pitcher’s mound and porked her as I held eye contact with the pitcher.
That’s just me though.

Bat flips and stares are disrespectful. Just run to first base with your head down.

If you choose to do it, expect to get beamed on your next at-bat.

I don’t mind intensity and cursing at others. Bat flips don’t bother me either. Maybe that’s because i don’t give a shit about baseball anymore.

However, i hate it when people pound their chest and/or dance after making a shot or scoring a touchdown.

Back when I played you could celebrate a little bit if knocked the piss out of the ball but if you went just a little far I was going to make you hit the dirt in your next at bat.

I don't mind celebrating a big shot or a ridiculous tackle or touchdown but when I see guys celebrating an average tackle or jumper I instantly hope that they get hit by a golf cart on the sideline.
