Lets get them down now:
KD: He will stay with the pussies from GS. I understand him wanting to have his own team, but he's the best player on a team that will win this year (even without him) and will win again next year. I'm sure he has an ego, but no chance he's gonna leave and go to a shit show in NY and try to start over. He has already proven he wants the rings above all else. He will stay where he has the best shot at winning more.
Kawhi: Also staying put. He has 50 million reasons to stay in Toronto. He also doesn't seem to be someone who wants the limelight. He can live a little more low key if he stays put. I know he has said he wants to be back in Cali, but 50 mill is a ton and he already left money on the table once. Toronto will get to keep him and Drake can keep jacking him off for the next few seasons.
Butler: This one is a little tougher, but I also think he stays. He could move on, but I think Philly will try to make him a priority and sell him on the young talent. Too bad Joel will never stay healthy and he won't win a title.
Kyrie: Probably goes to Knicks and the Knicks still suck. He will get his points and they will miss the playoffs.
AD isn't getting traded either. Sorry Lakers and NBA fans. Even with Zion, they still won't be relevant.
Bottom line. Next season will look much like this season.
DAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!!!!! That Woj Bomb got us...... OKC has ALL the picks in upcoming drafts
Rumors are circulating fast that OKC is about to flip CP3 to Miami for picks..... OKC is running the team like they're playing NBA2K in GM modeI'm glad the Heat didn't get Westbrook
As long as it’s picks and not including Tyler Herro. That kid is Chris Mullen with athletic ability.Rumors are circulating fast that OKC is about to flip CP3 to Miami for picks..... OKC is running the team like they're playing NBA2K in GM mode
I wanted him to re-sign in Toronto, but I'm neither surprised nor upset that he left. Toronto traded for him to make a finals push. It literally went as well as it could have.I think I'm giving Kawhi a pass. He left money on the table (again), but living in another country would be tough. Plus he's still young and healthy
He would have sold lots of tickets with Butler in Miami, but still get bounced early in the playoffs.I'm glad the Heat didn't get Westbrook
They came closest in the 2017-2018 season. They lost in 7 games to the Warriors but were arguably a better team.He would have sold lots of tickets with Butler in Miami, but still get bounced early in the playoffs.
Over reaction by The Rockets, IMO. They could’ve rested Paul a bit during the regular season and have it one more try in the playoffs.
Could be right. That damn hammy cost them a ring. They had a great opportunity this year when KD went down and couldn’t get it done. I still would’ve rolled the dice with the current squad instead of picking up Westbrook. They came closest in the 2017-2018 season. Their collapse this year signaled that a change was necessary.
Wade joked before the Butler signing that if Jimmy came to Miami then he (Wade) would come out of retirement.Chris Paul, while a step slower, his game compliments Jimmy Butler's better than Westbrook in Miami..... I just wonder what number CP3 will get, since his Banana Boat friend Dwayne Wade won't let him take his old number. Hell, with Amare and Monta Ellis trying for a comeback with the Lakers, don't be surprised if D-Wade decides to return for one more year to play with his boy Paul, and Butler. Miami could be a surprise team behind Philly, Milwaukee, and Boston this year.
There has been talk for years that he is toxic in the locker room.Paul has had a phenomenal career, but he also has a grating personality. It was obvious that Harden was sick of him last season.
