Highly intelligent guy reads the tea leaves. Realizes he isn’t getting out of this one. Even has a painting of himself commissioned with himself behind bars. He knew this day was coming. I am sure he had many sleepless nights planning how he would extricate himself from this reality.

Nah fuck no it was the Clintons and rich people.

My problem with the skeptic's world view...

Is default skepticism a trait that leads to difficulty differentiating reality and fantasy/propaganda?

Ironically, I can see no better way to ruin one's own internal radar for bullshit than to treat everything with a skeptics eye. With such white noise, the abnormal no longer is highlighted. Pattern recognition, one of the only thing that human brain is excellent at (computers can't even match), is then decreased by removing the anchors.

If everything is treated like an illusion, you won't be less fooled by illusions. You'll just be looking for mirrors and strings when no trick is being performed.

We require default reality based on real rules and experience for anchored fact checking, comparison, and stability. It is the reliance on experts that allows us to exponentially increase our ruleset, even if we don't have the intelligence or experience to solve the problem on our own. To do otherwise is hubris of the highest sort, to assume you grasp and are an expert at everything from bullet dynamics, to astrophysics, to climate change, to medical biochemistry...
It is the abnormal that stands out then in our world and how our brain works as a typical default.

Sure you can be fooled by an illusion here and there but only in so far as the illusion appears benign, is not repeated often, and the audience is small. And the magician (and crew) never tell the secret. The odds of these things aligning forever and often are low. Much better than assuming reality is typically (mostly) not what it seems...or is.

There is some pure gold going on at 4chan right now. Epsteins body was switched by the mossad and he was whisked away by military personnel in a van around midnite.lol

https://nypost.com/2019/08/10/jeffr...convicted-pedophile-dies-of-apparent-suicide/

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is demanding answers after billionaire and accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in an apparent suicide.

“We need answers. Lots of them,” she tweeted out Saturday morning along with a link to a news article reporting the apparent suicide.

Epstein had been locked up at the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. Post photographers spotted EMTs pushing a gurney carrying Epstein into Downtown Hospital at around 7:30.

The response from the freshman firebrand’s call for accountability drew support, even from her traditional adversaries.

“I agree @AOC,” said Florida GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz. “Chairman @RepJerryNadler should prioritize a Judiciary investigation into how Jeffrey Epstein died in federal custody,”

Conspiracies are fake

History tells us this
Most things aren't conspiracies. So that's a bad appeal to probability regardless. And such statements still don't address specific supporting facts, thus have no bearing and are a type of logical fallacy.

Also, most things that have been referenced as conspiracies were not theorized at the time.
CT is fun. But it doesn't have a strong track record of theorizing then being right .
